I will still invest some of my fund on ripple but not like I will invest in bitcoin or other fully decentralized cryptocurrency. The reason for investment in the first place is to make profit and ripple have brought profits over the years.

If it's shouldn't invest in XRP so which one is worst to invest in? I know that XRP is not the best cryptocurrency in this market but as I can see only BTC and ETH are better than XRP at the moment by taking a look at rank of XRP on Coinmarketcap. I don't think there is any reason that anyone shouldn't invest money in such a good crypto as XRP Smiley. Of course there are so many other cryptocurrencies to choose instead of XRP but seem like XRP is still much better.

I know ripple is one of the top coins but no matter how much money I have, I already had the negative impression on ripple based on the reviews and articles I have read. Try to google it and see if you will still invest. There are a lot of better coins to choose from and regardless if the reviews are true or not, its better to stay away from it - Safe than sorry.

Hello there,

I am new at this topics, many of my  friends said that ripple is the worst cryptocurrency,
because don't represent the spirit of a cryptocurrency has to be.

May be someone can bring me more reasonable argument about why i wouldn't invest on ripple or in other hand, invest on it.

please, all the help will be appreciate because i want really learn all about crypto.

Ripple is a banking support platform but Bitcoin is decentralised cryptocurrency so it is completely against in Bitcoin this is the main reason to avoid in Ripple.
But this is good growing project and many investors are buying this coin because this also supporting in long term investment.
Aside from it being against Bitcoin, I think is a very token on the marketplace. It is doing well and investors are interested as well. But you know what, BTC is the King and we will fight anyone against him(BTC) LOL. I think BTC is a make by gender.

centralized coin.. Mostly the reason people are interested in crypto is to move away from centralized governance.

The people want power.

Supporting anything centralized will not make that happen

Ripple is a very good cryptocurrency, but its profit margin is really low compared to the new coin. As an investor, I am more willing to invest in a cryptocurrency that can be x1 in a short time!

I put resources into XRP. Contributing companions is straightforward. Numerous individuals think he is a digital money that has not been decentralized. It may not be exceptionally autonomous.

You can buy ripple but its growth is limited due to its huge supply and you will not get a decent earnings from it in long term. It is like a fixed deposit and you get a return equivalent to a FD every year if you hold it.

I wouldn't invest into Ripple essentially in light of the fact that, I think there are better alternatives. For instance I would rather put resources into BTC or ETH, in light of the fact that thier development is more steady and higher than the Ripple one. Additionally ETH has more conceivable outcomes and ways you can utilize it.

I even thought otherwise, that is because Ripple is currently one of the coins that has an aggressive movement. Ripple is now trying to work with governments and key government agencies. For me this is progress because not all coin in design such a case. Maybe your friends think that when Ripple cooperates with the government, the price of Ripple will be more stable, which might be a problem because of the current cryptocurrency characteristic, the price is always moving very fast.

The basis of the ripple is support for the bank. But bitcoin is a non-centralized platform and does not come with any management. So ripple is the opposite of BTC. If the BTC continues to develop, it should not invest in ripple.

Asides the huge supply, ripple is a centralized currency which gives room for price manipulations, monopoly and a high level of control by the team. It is not a bad idea to invest for the short term but I have never seen ripple as a currency to be held for the long term. I wonder what those who keep mentioning ripple as a good hold see in it or probably they have no slight understanding that it should not even be categorized as a cryptocurrency.

Earlier I also didn't invest in Ripple due to the fact that it doesn't follows the one rule that makes cryptocurrencies useful and that is being decentralized. But after seeing the huge gains of Ripple last year I gave in and invested a small amount into it. If you cant beat them than join them basically.

Ripple is one among the asset that has been into usage long back, but over the last year the growth of ripple was tremendous and it gave a hard competence to the ethereum in terms of market capital. Soon after the same the it made collaboration with more and more private companies and the growth continued. People doesn't intend to invest upon ripple, because it is termed to be under a centralized infrastructure which will be manipulated on their necessity.
