Why wouldn't you invest on ripple?

I think investing into Ripple coins could be profitable in a long term holding. Ripple is a coin that supports banking system and it is also a decentralized coin which makes it poor in peoples use. That is why I would go with some other coins.

I can buy ripple for a short term trade but I won't buy ripple for a long term hold because ripple is a centralized platform and not a decentralized platform, the world is moving to decentralized economy.

Ripple can be profitable for you to invest in, I just think that they are trying to protect you from having to go through massive price fluctuations seeing as ripple takes hit after hit in the market, the prices dropped so much that it can be hard to picture the price of ripple ever getting to a place where it is doing well but if you want to invest in ripple then you should, just don't put too much money in the coin.

Why there is no point investing in ripple? The answers is very easy - because ripple have no future! This coin only for making more money for bankers, for coins they sold they bought  bitcoin and now manipulating the whole market

So sorry but I don't agree with your friend's statement. Although it has opposite concept from Bitcoin, I think that Ripple is still a good coin for investment in crypto. This concept of coin brings the different system. It tends to be the crypto platform that supports the bank system decentralized. So, it is interesting to gain many investors.

Its price is very high right now and i am not sure this is the most profitable investment. I prefer to put money in new coins with bigger potential for a huge growth.

You can buy ripple but its growth is limited due to its huge supply and you will not get a decent earnings from it in long term. It is like a fixed deposit and you get a return equivalent to a FD every year if you hold it.

Ripple have too big circulating supply, which means that he cant give a lot of x's. But from other side it used in bank systems which means that he will always be in use and keep his price.

Ripple is a greta coin, at least it is the first choice for wall street banks after bitcoins, my only reservation is that there seem to be so much centralization in the holders

Ripple can increase of value as result of media and news, however since their client doesn't have to use ripple coin in order to use their services, it will be no real demand on ripple from those clients.

For me, ripple's not an alternative coin but it's more appropriate to say as alternative cryptocurrency (substitute for cryptocurrency), because of its origin alone already is much different, altcoin's derived from mining (decentralization) and while ripple comes from banking (centralized) which made me not like it much.
