Has Mt Gox always offered merchant payment processing services a la Bitpay, or is this a new departure for them?

https://www.mtgox.com/merchant

Never noticed it before, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention...

they've had it for quite a long time

you can't get dollars out of them..only bitcoin..and even that it seems they are always backlogged on..so better to use bitpay or coinbase

Do their merchants have the same difficulty withdrawing fiat that their regular exchange customers do, does anyone know?

i'm 99% sure they do not differentiate their merchant and normal accounts

i was using their merchant api on my normal account in the past

never withdrew cash only bitcoin but i would have had to withdraw just like a btc sale through the normal means that now have crazy delays
