I should be paid just for reading this thread, and double that for responding, but here goes...

Trust is no more or less than who you demonstrate yourself to be.

That little number next to your name looks exactly like this to new people like me: Trust 0: -0 / +0(0)

In other words, it means nothing. In fact, every forum where trust is an issue clearly states in moderated posts that forum trust is absolutely not a measure of whether you can rely on the honesty or integrity of an individual.

Your post is an excellent example of why trust is relatively worthless. You've shown how trust can be abused to give someone negative rating, and then taken it a step further to show how it can be abused to give someone positive rating.

In doing so you've also demonstrated that you can't be trusted, because you're willing to game the system for the purpose of making yourself appear more trustworthy. In other words, you just wasted BTC 0.002 towards invalidating a broken system, while establishing yourself as untrustworthy in the process. Worse, the guy who gave you negative trust is way in the read, has very little forum activity, and a transaction value of BTC 0.0 attached to that negative trust.

Bravo.

And this is why it's ironic lol. I'd tend to trust people more who are active in the community rather than their feedback score anyway.

You argue that such trust should be removed, but in reality, all trust is is somebody's view of you. Even if that negative trust is some random nonsense, everyone looking at your trust should know that, and is not a valid excuse to buy trust.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

Well if he buys his trust, he is not trustworthy to me.   Undecided

The trust systems sucks. You can leave crap trust just for the lulz and it will not be removed. I wish it could be hidden.

Someone above mentioned that the trust system isn't really how trustworthy someone is, it just lets people know what other people think about that person. In my opinion, the mere fact that you are buying trust makes you untrustworthy, which is why I am leaving negative trust. That is just what I think about the situation, whether others think the same way is up to them. That is why the reason column is there. If you agree with the reason and believe that it is true, then you can avoid that person. If you disagree with their stated reason thinking that it might not be reason enough to not trade with someone or if you think that they might be lying, go ahead and trade with them. The trust system is more of a system to express your opinion rather than a system of trust.

Forever strong.

I lol at the idea of trust buying, but people do it all the time. Think of the restaurants paying people to leave positive feedback on blogs and forums. It was just a matter of time before somebody does it here, so don't blame him.

I currently have negative trust because of some troll who downmodded me without cause. If all my deals had been trusted rightly I would have 2 positives and one negative. I could only get one of the sellers who had a positive experience with me to leave positive trust. The only true negative being because I lacked liquidity at the moment, which I'm sorry for.

I shouldn't be held accountable because some moron called Hollowinfinity left a negative trust message "FUCK OYU SCAMMER! EAT MY SHITSTAINED PIZZA AND SUCK ON MY COCA COLA COCK!". Checkout his trust, he was downmodded severely. The moderators of this forum allow this kind of trust to stand and they won't remove it. AFAIK there is no rule that you can't sell positive trust for BTC.

So I will pay BTC 0.002 to the first person who leaves positive trust on my account. I don't care what you write as long as it is positive. Leave your Bitcoin address. It's easy money, more than $1.5 worth of BTC for only a few seconds effort. Remember: only the first person to leave positive trust will be paid.

If you decide to troll me with negative trust or withdraw positive trust after payment I *WILL* leave negative trust on your account. If someone uses it against me at least I can show what a phony system it is.

success!
