Years ago, I participated in ico and invested in a project called tbar. Yesterday, without any warning, I suddenly returned to zero! At present, the website is still in existence and no project personnel can be contacted. Could you please tell me how I can recover my investment? Through what channels?
I don't know what tbar is but there's a reddit post on it a month ago but there's no enough proof.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TBIS/comments/8lsp7e/dont_invest_in_this_project_tbar_is_a_scam/

There's also a video that says it's a scam. Titanium (TBAR) declared SCAM by SEC, Critical EOS bugs found, South Korea ICO Ban

Many ICOs will fail, it is common even in traditional investing where 95 percent of startups simply fail. In the beginning and in unregulated market percentage of scams is higher though. You must invest knowing that it is gone money, and inves only what you can lose. A lot of them will fail but on those that succeed people gain huge percentages

Yes, that is correct we should invest only spare money on these high-risk investments. But people borrow money from others to invest on these cryptos and that is the biggest mistake we never should do it. If your investment ends up like this one then you lose your money and also need to pay back borrowed money with interest so hit from two sides.

I sympathize with your experience. Now it seems you can't make up for your loss. So far, many of the ICO are deception. Hope you have other investments to balance your losses. Hope you will invest ICO prudently.

This s definitely part of what everyone has been concerned about. it is a clear indication that the team have made heir profit and have abandoned the project. It  means it is a scam project. It is also more of a hype than a project than a working product. It might be quite unfortunate that you may not be able to get back your money from that same project, except you decide to invest into a better project that would give you good profit and cover up for the previous loss of losses.
