You in the UK should organize and vote these politicians out.  The longer you wait the harder it will be.  In a generation or two, Muslims will out vote you in most of the country.

He was on a suspended sentence and then he does the exact same thing that he was on bail for. If you do that then you go straight to jail for your original sentence that was suspended hence why there was no trial.

who is this guy and why is he so important to you?

He is the founder of and former leader of the English Defense League an anti-Islam and immigration group, but has since distanced himself from it. He now seems to have reinvented himself as an amateur journalist but still has a hard-on for anything related to Islam and the misdeeds anyone does under it. He got in trouble for reporting on rape gangs because it could have effected the court case and was given a suspended sentence for contempt of court last year. He then did pretty much the same thing this year and now he's gone to prison for it.
