The wallet ERC-20 is a wallet linked to ETH is the one we usually use to receive the tokens we earn in the Bounty Campaigns. Both belong to different Blockchain systems and have their limitations between them. For example, you can not send BTC to an ERC-20 wallet

Bitcoin address is the address which you use for holding the coin. It is totally dedicated to bitcoin only and cannot be used by other. And ERC-20 wallet is for all alts. You can use it for any one.

Bitcoin address is a thing by which people hold their bitcoin and it is a inhabitant of bitcoin blockchain. On the other hand in ERC-20 wallet is a place where you can hold not only ethereum but also other coins.

Bitcoin is used for bitcoin. You can not hold altcoins here. Ethereum is for ERC-20 and others ERC20- based on crypto. Ethereum's blockchain and bitcoins are difference those are stored in their own separated adress. Roll Eyes

Bitcoin address is the address for you to send and receive the BTC, the address of the ERC-20 is the address for you to receive all the coins on the ETH platform (ERC-20). Remember that it is not possible to use a BTC wallet to keep the ERC-20 token and vice versa.

Hello everyone, Whats the difference between Bitcoin Address and ERC-20 Wallet address ?

The question already answers itself. Bitcoin Address is the public key or receiving wallet address of a bitcoin wallet such as exodus while ERC20 address is the receiving address of an ethereum wallet such as myetherwallet, Imtoken, metamask, etc.

If you want to store BTC then obviously you need Bitcoin address termed as Bitcoin Public Key which you will give to any individual to receive Bitcoins. Bitcoin is having its own blockchain, you can create legacy address starts from '1' or segwit address starts from '3'. Whereas to receive ERC20 compatible tokens you need Ethereum address, it is also having its own independent blockchain. To create Ethereum address you can use MEW, MetaMask, IMToken or Nano LedgerS.
