altcoins are very good for speculating, and hitting the lottery jackpot.

Yes. Bitcoin price is very very down that's why it lost its attraction to many people. Price of bitcoin totally affects its popularity. Many people expect the good price of bitcoin.

Indeed, many altcoin today are highly volatile.
Therefore, many people are no longer willing to trade bitcoin. However, this is a very dangerous thing, because altcoin has a high yield but a high risk.

Something to keep in mind with these type of altcoins, is that while they are up 100%+ they do not usually have enough liquidity in buy orders. So say you buy 1 BTC worth, and now your investment is worth 3 BTC. You very likely would only be able to sell 1 BTC worth of the coin to clear out the order book. Another thing is these coins are more volatile than Bitcoin because they are much smaller and easier to manipulate. Much riskier buying one of these smaller altcoins.

Yes because a lot of bitcoin holders expected big. Maybe when we say bitcoin they thought a big amount but sadly that is not what is btc are showing and might thought it will not pump big again so might really affect it's popularity and also bad news about btc affects also so much better that btc might update it's strategy to gain more attraction again but let us just wait maybe btc will show something sooner.

slowly dying the exciting market with the huge growths are the alts.
what you see in alts is not growth it is pump bro. the 400% rise that you see today is followed by a -90% drop

Few days ago I saw on YoBit growth >999% for Liza coin. That is the most high growth that I've ever saw, but it was temporary. Maybe bitcoin is really not so attractive for speculation now, but it's definitely the best coin for holding.

It is true that some altcoins can increase its value by 400% in just a day but how sure are you that it will remain on that price level? you should understand that those altcoins that drastically increasing their value are also have low trading volume so that means that there is someone or a group of huge investors that is pumping its price but eventually it will also experience a downfall when they dump it. But how will you know if which coin will gets pump day by day, if there are lots of altcoins in the market, its like a guessing game lol. Investing in Bitcoin is not always an easy profit that every single day you will make huge earnings, of course it will also experience a down in price. This is also why there is an investment strategy called "long term investment".

yes, true there is a sense in what you are sharing but people has different mindsets. There are people who are willing to wait and people who sees the sun even in the rain. We have seen better days of bitcoin now is not a good time but i sure think it can recover soon.

How long will this shitcoin party last? Many pumps have no sense, it is pure manipulation, many coins have no innovation, they are forks with algorithm change or block generation, but without a long-term roadmap, or some distributed token in airdrop that accepts donation ... But this does not stop to profit from this situation, to catch a pump of these can yield much profit.

Bitcoin has grown absurdly, but it has much to valorize, 10x in 2 years is quite probable.

Speculations do most times and always give cryptocurrency investors and traders hope and the likeness of investing more , so don't blame them if they do. But what I don't support is the situation whereby bitcoin enthusiasts speculate irrational. These overestimation and too much speculation on the price of bitcoin can cause bitcoin to loss his value and attraction. Which is why it's good to be realistic.

Bitcoin is still amazing speculative tool - but it has changed to more of advancedwhale game now.
What will you get when your altcoin which was worth 0.0001 USD will rise by 500%? In the best case scenario, you will get maybe 1 cent.
And when bitcoin shifting for 5%-20% you can earn hundreds and thousands of dollar, see the difference here?

You are lucky if you enter in this kind of coin and pump higher within that day. This is right, some coins are better now when it comes to profit making since bitcoin is quiet stable on its level now buy it doesn’t mean its not good to but bitcoin. There are some coins that will pump higher than bitcoin but you must understand the risk of investing on that coin.

when you are investing .. it means you are ready with all the risks that exist ,,, and it will be very possible if the investment has only an advantage in the beginning and finally will encounter obstacles such as the collapse of coin prices drastically, then all the risk should be ready to receive ..

It won't piss off those you call as "bitcoin fanatics" because it is a common sight before the last halving happened. It isn't that price speculation for bitcoin lost a lot of attraction, it's just that noobs who entered the market have sold their portfolio already and veteran traders(typically bitcoin hodlers) are doing their usual thing(multiplying their bitcoin stash with altcoin price movements).
