We already said no money from an exchange. Firstly, you risk your transaction id stolen by someone else (how to prove that you own that transaction if you sent from a share account of an exchange ?); Secondly it falls under counter-sockpuppet measure and your money would be considered a donation.
Read the front page carefully even before you think about sending money in. Then read it again before you actually send the money. Thanks.
Hi Utopian, Sorry but I have read carefully 1st stake holders list conditions, and at that time there was nothing mentioned about danger of sending money from exchange - what I already did. Now when checking this thread I found your quoted post and began worrying if I just throw oney for nothing.
Would you put this information in
BOLD text on 1st page this thread, as many people may sent you money fron exchange and at the end they will find out to be under counter-sockpuppet measure, what I don't think it's fair.

I know that you have to deal with many issues, but making things clear and obvious would simplify application process.
Counter sockpuppet measure: Sending address could be checked and if there were already two payments made to NEM's addresses before, then the third payment would be considered a donation. This measure has come into effect at page 81 (registration thread 1) and does not apply retroactively (it is in effect now). So DO NOT SEND the fee to NEM from an exchange, you would need to withdraw to your account first. Thanks for your understanding.
And honestly, I don't know why sending from exchange will fall under counter-sockpuppet measure - what a problem to generate another wallet under armory? Reason why I sent it from exchange is that I haven't got physical access to computer where it is stored - that's way I used exchange. Would you clarified validity of my application? Thanks.
