lol not even close. that color and the series name (UD7) suggest that it's a high end board designed for overclocking. it's going to be $400+

I wish. The current model ($379) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128472If I remember right when this model first launched it was $450+. Yeah X79 is a new chipset and socket but this is Gigabytes top of the top of the topline model. You won't even see a refurb OEM going for <$299.

It only has 4 slots...... and I dont see any onboard controls (on/off/reset)
I think the best board for the money is the MSI gd70

I think the best board for the money is the MSI gd70
It has a total of 7 pic-e slots The buttons are hard to see from that photo but check this one with on the fly OC

I'm curious how they could have wired that, i have a feeling the 1x slots may be disabled when the 16x are in use unless they've connected them to the PCH instead of the cpu's onlboard pci express bus

I am almost certain the 1x are through the PCH. Technically it could support even more (total of 8 PCIe lanes).
