Why is everyone so focused on speedy transaction/confirmation times? The way I see it, if I trade coins, I'm not caring if it takes 5-10 minutes (as long as I trade at the price that I first initiated the transaction) and if I'm buying something on Overstock.com or Sacramento Kings tickets or whatever with BitCoin, I'm not caring about 5-10 minutes for transaction times. If I'm buying a Big Mac at McDonalds, then yes, I want my transaction instant, but I have Google Wallet for that.
Am I missing something?
