Is there a way to get certain own topic deleted?

That is not how it works. If you want a topic you created it won't happen. Just move it to the archival board.

If it broke the rules then report it?
Or else move it to archival then delete the text and the title (bottom of the page then click on move topic)

The move button is in the same place the lock button was: bottom-left of the page. Then you just select the Archival section.

Go to the bottom left of the thread and click "lock" then go to the top right of the thread near where you post is and hit the delete button (you might be able to delete it without locking it.

You could also just move it to archival and lock it or leave it unlocked even as it won't cause too much of a problem to leave it unlocked - just don't post a redirect.

And is that in the meta section or in the archival section as I know you can't delete anything once it's in archival (unless you move it out and then delete it).

Good to see people are learning and adopting with merit system. The forum is a much better place now.

PS: If my memory serves me right then you have another topic which also had a negative vibe about merit. You wanted to award merit for writing blog article for you. You might consider taking care of that too?
