is there a magento plugin to accept BTC?

i am looking to put a site up and solely accept btc.

any info would help
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Bitcoin payment module for Magento. It’s an open source module. Download and full description here:

Current features (more to be added):

- New bitcoin currency and symbol. Full currency support in Magento.
- Currency conversion and conversion rates management. Manually, or daily weighted value from Bitcoincharts service.
- Scheduled conversion rates update is supported.
- Accept bitcoin payment.Orders are accepted in Pending status and set to Processing when the minimum confirmation count is reached.
- Required confirmations is configurable.
- Fully configurable bitcoind parameters.
- Http/Https access to bitcoin (if bitcoind configured for https).
- Generates a new bitcoin address for every order.
- Provides bitcoin payment address to the customer on checkout.
- Configurable setting to display a converted grand total on checkout. (Ex: Display grand total in USD.)

yea i tried this -- however, after putting it in the root directory, bitcoin isnt available as an option.

Will keep playing with it.

Have you finished the installation?
1. Place it in root
2. Enable BTC currency for your store.
3. Go to Manage Currencies and import exchange rates.
4. Start Bitcoind.
5. Watch the hash money roll in.

ya, i am installing on a godaddy shared server. i have a feeling i dont have access to get this module working.

I will look at getting a VPS setup

How do i know what my configuration settings are? specifically host, username, password?

I am using the bit-pay system with open-cart and it works great!
