Mist Wallet not syncing fully

I've seen it asked many times but not an answer.

Why does my Geth chaindata folder reach a certain point and then lose data and re-sync, lose data, re-sync, etc., etc...?

It never get's fully synced. Last time I tried it was over a month and it did not sync 100%.

I'm not really sure about this. You can search it on google searching for solutions. You'll get different websites about this matter which are discussed elaborately.

If you are not sure about it, why did you post here? to increase your post count?

@OP there was always a problem for users in syncing up of mist wallets. A possible solution may be

1. Delete the Geth chaindata folder (Backup before deleting it)

If you are using ubuntu, to delete chaindata folder go to rm ~/.ethereum/geth/chaindata/*

If not you can use the code and delete the chaindata

geth removedb

2. Open the wallet app, click Develop ->Sync with Light client (beta)



3. Restart the wallet and it would be fine in continuing with the syncing

As far as i know it is not secure wallet. That’s why peoples are not connecting with this wallet and for this reason its demand also decreasing. I suggest you can use trezor because it is secured than other wallet.

1.
Delete the Geth chaindata folder (Backup before deleting it)
Check your internet connection!
Add node (if possible)

Its quite impossible to explain why mist wallet not syncing fully because it depends on them. Nowadays scams are everywhere and some hackers are also ruins the market.
