Steemit Contest

CIF will be holding a content creation contest hosted by forum moderator and community member @ihashblox (Brian B) on the popular blogging medium, Steemit. Steemit is a blogging and social networking website that uses its Steem blockchain-based rewards platform for publishers. The Steem blockchain produces Steem and Steem Dollars (SBD) which are tradeable tokens obtained for posting, discovering, and commenting on content.[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steemit]

The contest will work as follows:
- Write an article describe CIF and why it’s unique.
- Post the link in our telegram, so our community can upvote it as well.
- Contest will run from 2018-06-03 to 2018-06-17 Article will be judged by three categories.
   - Originality
   - Quality
   - Number of responses (comments and upvotes)
- The winner, chosen by our community based on the above three criteria will he rewarded 1 SBD and 10,000 CIF.
- We’ll be running a few contests so let’s see how this goes and hopefully we’ll have the opportunity to do more in the future!

What is a Masternode?

A masternode is a unique way of incentivizing people to both secure the network by running a node, and by encouraging them to hold a comparatively large amount of the currency. One of the most popular implementations of master nodes occurs on the Dash network.

Here’s how it works for CIF. First, one needs to own 100,000 units of CIF. Next, they need to have a preferably dedicated computer to become their masternode.
