Version 1.3 after 24 Hours still working stable.
Config: plimit 50 all cards, GPU+0mhz, mem +0 mhz , i=19
Geforce Driver: 398.11 fresh one Smiley
2x MSI Armor GTX 1070 @~1870khash/s
1x Gigabyte GTX 1080 @ ~2560khash/s
3x Inno3d Ichill x4 1080Ti @~3440khash/s

Overall ~16,5Mhash/s and still stable, power consumption the whole machine: 717W at the wall.

With CCminer 2.2.5 overall i had ~14,3Mhash and 700W power consumption.
So i think overall i have 13%+ mining power, good job Ryzen2700x .  Grin

Testing an MSI Gaming X 1008Ti with Plimit 50, i=21 , GPU+100mhz @2Ghz, and Mem-500 and the result is:
Driver the same as the 6 card rig.
[2018-06-08 20:37:56] GPU #0: 1998 MHz 27.76 kH/W 127W 62C FAN 35%
[2018-06-08 20:38:39] GPU #0: MSI GTX 1080 Ti, 3538.46 kH/s

Thanks!

Could you compile a CUDA 9.1 version? The lastest drivers are buggy with Afterburner/Xtreme Tuner (freezes at applying overclock) and requires lastest Windows version.

When the dev fee kicks in the Miner says " retry in 5 sec. "
but then doesnt go back. So the mining is down every hour and i have to reset i manualy.
Anyone with the same issue ?

Head to Head test of CoolMiner 1.3 Vs ccminer 2.2.5

Hash rate numbers are vanity metrics and can be gamed.  The only thing I care about is "which miner puts more coins in my wallet?" I've done dozens of Head to Head tests in the past see: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3385643.0

I've decided to test CoolMiner 1.3 Vs ccminer 2.2.5 to see which one mines more coins.

The Setup:
I use a 12 GPU 1080Ti rig on Windows 10, split into three mining instances of 4 GPU's each (for this test, only two of the instances are used). All three mining instances are balanced to get as close to the same hash rate as possible.
Each mining instance is running at the same time on the same machine mining on the same pool.

Overclock settings: 100% TDP, +75 core, -502 mem
Drivers: Nvidia 397.93

Test 1 Results: CoolMiner 1.3 wins by 7.72%
Duration: 360 minutes
Default intensity: 16; pool set variable diff
-I stopped the test early, because I wanted to see both miners running a static pool diff and 20 intensity

Test 2 Results: CoolMiner 1.3 wins by 2.51%
Duration: 855 minutes
-i 20; pool diff = 10

This test was very close from the outset, much closer than Test 1.

Overclock settings: 100% TDP, +75 core, -502 mem
Intensity: miner default (CoolMiner: 16, ccminer: 22)
Drivers: Nvidia 397.93

Results: IN PROGRESS

Thanks :-), But why you are testing @ Intensity =16 on my miner? LOL, the Intensity  calc is same on ccminer and coolMiner so use the same on both if you like the compression to be accurate.
If you compare both miners @ Intensity =16(cuda threads =65536) then then it will be more interesting :-),
Waiting for the results, it's like a race :-).
P.S: please update the drivers to get the full speed from my minre:

Thanks for your effort :-).

It's your fault.  Wink

1st test I run, uses default settings. You set the default at 16, not me.

Code:
cuda_get_arch(thr_id);
int intensity = (device_sm[dev_id] > 500 && !is_windows()) ? 17 : 16;
if (device_sm[dev_id] <= 500) intensity = 15;
throughput = cuda_default_throughput(thr_id, 1U << intensity); // 18=256*256*4;
if (init[thr_id]) throughput = min(throughput, max_nonce - first_nonce);

It should be 16 on ccminer too, where did you get 22 as default?

Also- even so- coolMiner already has a lead on your Balance  Wink

and this is with 3% speed penalty for running at -i 16 vs ccminer @ 22 :-)
-i 16 vs -i 21: ccminer ~8% penalty vs coolMiner ~3% penalty .
-i 17 vs -i 21: ccminer ~4% penalty vs coolMiner ~1.5% penalty .

Time to grab a Popcorn :-), Let the Race begin!
