Ok, good question! As for me, I buy on pre-sale when I am sure that ICO isn't Scam but if I doubt usually I buy a little bit on pre-sale and more on ICO. You can't earn all money in the world.

I think pre sale is just a period of sale in a ico. But it will be great if catch up the presale. Because that stage the price of token are more chipper than the main sale

To buy crypto, on pre sale or on ICO is depend from your individual possibilities. As a rule on pre sale you can get some bonuses, but minimal cap is several thousand dollars. Not everyone have such money. Those who hasn't, can buy on public sale without bonuses with small minimal cap.

For me this does not makes sense as if the project is good it worth investing, if it seems to be scam, than it is also difficult to make any difference between the stages. So I am regularly looking at ICOs mainly at icoguide.com and then make decision.

You can get on the bait of scammers at any stage of the ICO. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully analyze and scoring the project and his team. And even after a thorough check, no one guarantees that the organizers will not disappear with the money of investors!

If you want to choose between these two, I think it's Ico. Because if we think that 80 percent of the projects in the current market is garbage, it is very difficult to get a solid project. But if you ask me, it makes more sense to participate in the bounty programs of the projects than the two of them.

If everybody participate on the bounty project alone, who will buy the token and where will they get the funding for the implementation of the project?  What do you think is the essence of conducting bounties? Well to me I feel that bounty is conducted to tell the world about a project and encourage them to invest for good rewards. If this is correct, I think it is unfair to state that participating in the bounty is better than in the token sale... they all work together for the success of every project. As for me I also invest in projects I feel had great prospect.

pre sale is a very nice thing, you can get a lot of good things during it including some bonuses and discounts, so i prefer to start with pre sale only

I personally prefer to participate in pre sale, because we will get a high bonus and potentially have a higher profit. It's just that the average purchase in pre sale has a buy limit, so only big investors can participate.

Presale is a very risky into the to do especially in a market where most of the initial coin offerings are scam however if you know the company on a personal basis or a trustable sponsor of that company you have contacts with a presale participation can be profitable

Both of them are risky options, and have their different reasons for being so. So if you decide to invest in a project, I think it is best that you invest in it when the prices are way cheaper to afford and more likely to give you better earnings. for this, I would rather invest in a project I believe in during the pre-ICO sale rather than the later.

Investments in presale is always good,  Because of the bonuses been offered but there is also a risk of the project not meeting its hard cap during the crowd sale. Investing in ico is also good as well but one misses out on the bonuses on offer by investing during the main sale.
