Not RDRam again, great performance, high cost. Is it justified?
1st.: I bet there will be GDDR3 and GDDR5 versions for low cost.
2nd.: Mining doesn't require high memory bandwith.
1.I'd bet no considering the GCN variant is the only 7900 series that will sport XDR and more than likely was built around the new architecture.
2.True,but GPUs aren't made for just mining.
I'd like to note that the 7900 series and all of the new cards with the new die shink will definitely cost a premium considering TSMC is carry up the
price due to demand.
