I am new to the mining world just bought a computer and want to give mining a go.. if I like it I will continue so I have a gt250 gpu I download xmr stak and a monero wallet also downloaded cuda and I stalled my gpu drivers I believe now I got most of the set up done but I keep getting:
warning nvidia insufficient driver
Warning backend nvidia disabled
Warning no amd  opencl platform found. Possible driver issue or wrong vendor driver
Warning backend and (opencl) disabled

And help would be helpful

I guess your card (GT250) is too old to mine XMR. I think you bought a second hand computer because that card is like really old (2009).

The only way to learn and understand mining with this setup may be to read this book : Mastering Bitcoin by Andreas M. Antonopoulos

Chapter 8: Mining and consensus, there is a very simplified Proof-of-Work algorithm implementation in Python.

Note that XMR and BTC uses different algorithm (Cryptonight and SHA-256, respectively). But you ll still get the hang of it from this book, I guess its a good start.
