No, Russia is one of the countries where Bitcoin is more widely accepted because of issues with conventional digital payments. Many hotels and bars accept Bitcoin as payment.

I have a friend there, who is engaged in a blockchain project.
As far, as I know, all cryptos are absolutely legal there, until you do something illegal by means of them, so, I can believe this news

I hope this is true. The World Cup is the most watched sporting event on the planet after the Olympics. Think of the publicity mileage and the prestige of being one of the sponsors bitcoin would get from this endeavour.

The design is horrible. Also, what guarantees are you offering that this project is true and the resources will be fully utilized in this project? A newbie account of someone with no reputation.

At the very least, you should use the services of someone with a reputation on the forum as an escrow.

Football matches will be held at 12 stadiums in 11 cities of Russia. Prior to this, the World Cup was not held in Russia or in Eastern Europe. Most of the stadiums were recently built or reconstructed.
This year, the State Duma was presented with two laws that regulate crypto-currencies. The first, "On Digital Financial Assets", is aimed at legalizing the technology of blocking, mining and ICO. The second makes amendments to the civil code and defines the norms of regulation of the crypto currency, and also protects the rights of investors. At the time of the World Championships both have a chance to be accepted.

in a prestigious event like the World Cup, it is very appropriate if bitcoin take part. for example MasterCard who has participated from the first. and that's enough to help their marketing. it's possible that bitcoin will be on the world cup billboard that will help. Moreover, held in the famous russia is very open with crypto.

Today I've even seen the whole list of places where you can pay with BTC durimg World Cup 2018, it's not huge but it's awesome, dozens of different spots take BTC as a payment. That can lead to increased popularity and demand

I think that not many people who want to advertise BTC at their own expense.
Only if someone is engaged in collecting donations and buying advertising on them. Roll Eyes

It is really a great initiative to spread bitcoin among the mass people. I hope people will get more interested to get involve through the  message of billboard. I think this kind of initiatives should be taken more in several crowing.
