As of January, the Russian government is in the process of finalizing the federal law for the regulation of cryptocurrencies and initial coin offerings. The draft law has now been officially published. Indeed it will be a good platform to let people know about bitcoin because we all know what FIFA is. And its being followed and watched by millions if not billions of people so I do hope that it will bring a lot of fresh blood to pump the market. Seems like it might be useless. i don't think that the target audience are visiting the matches and a football lovers mostly doesn't care about blockchain at all
But they'll see the Bitcoins Billboard and they can wonder what it is. Of course this is a way of advertising and maybe not just bitcoins are there and there is a explanation. So people will have the idea of what it is and of course they will begin to search. |

Russia does not prohibit cryptocurrencies! Many Russian hotels during the World Cup support BTC's payment methods! Cryptocurrency is a borderless payment method. |

this news takeover many social medial for over a month now and the world cup is almost done with just 12 days left but nothing happening between bitcoin and world cup in Russia i think this is just rumor Russia did not accept bitcoin for any transactions in there country. |
