As far as I know, bitcoin and operations with crypto currency are banned in Russia. Or is it not true?

As of January, the Russian government is in the process of finalizing the federal law for the regulation of cryptocurrencies and initial coin offerings. The draft law has now been officially published. It regulates the creation, issuance, storage, and circulation of cryptocurrencies.

Indeed it will be a good platform to let people know about bitcoin because we all know what FIFA is. And its being followed and watched by millions if not billions of people so I do hope that it will bring a lot of fresh blood to pump the market.

But isn't it the Russia keeps contradicting themselves? I hope though that they are sincere in having crypto regulated because there is a deep market in Russia.

It is very useful to participate in a great tournament, like Bitcoin Football World Cup. It is possible that Bitcoin will be on the World Cup billboard, which will help in the development and progress of Bitcoin. Russia also supports Bitcoin and its use in their country is valid. Very open with the World Cup crypto held in Russian.

Seems like it might be useless. i don't think that the target audience are visiting the matches and a football lovers mostly doesn't care about blockchain at all
But they'll see the Bitcoins Billboard and they can wonder what it is. Of course this is a way of advertising and maybe not just bitcoins are there and there is a explanation. So people will have the idea of what it is and of course they will begin to search.

Yes even you have seen the whole list of places where you can pay with Bitcoin durimg World Cup two thousand and eighteen not great but it is amazing, dozens of different places take Bitcoin as payment. This can increase popularity and demand. Moreover, held in Russia is famously very open with the current cryptocurrancy of course.

There were a lot of online gambling and betting platforms established at the beginning of the year. Since cryptocurrency is a global platform it is obvious that the activity on these platforms will increase as time draws closer to the FIFA world cup. Bitcoin and the other top altcoins including ETH will have a certain increase in price.

Russia does not prohibit cryptocurrencies!
Many Russian hotels during the World Cup support BTC's payment methods!
Cryptocurrency is a borderless payment method.

In Russia, the crypto world and bitcoin are not popular! The football championship will not affect the growth or fall of bitcoin in any way! Advertising needs a crypto world and bitcoin, but people are now looking at football and no one will start to understand the crypto world! in any case it's very good that the advertising bitcoin and the entire crypto world is held all over the world! I'm very glad that bitcoin is gaining popularity all over the world and its capitalization is growing!
