Gridcoin is the only crypto-currency that actually helps humanity, the rest of the cryptos are just clones and copies with slight changes in parameters. I see that in the future the crypto-currencies that triumph are the ones which directly help the world in someway.

No.  Crypto Notes may have killed all other cpu/botnet/cloud mining.  Someone will just code a '4 Humanity' Cryptonote.  

GRid might be smart to snap shot and then fork to note.

Very few coins have any kind of real unique idea. Everyone posts about their favorite coins going up because, get this, they own a bunch of them and have a financial stake in them going up. Either wishful thinking or hoping for a nice pump so they can dump, it's always selfish reasons.

Considering that most of the alts have crashed and burned and Gridcoin has maintained it's value 1 year after inception more or less is a very good sign.
