Hi all,

New hobby miner here, just dipping my toe in a few alts.

Compiled my own miners etc. I like it all, despite probably operating at a loss, very fascinating indeed and a great way to learn all about everything.

Anyway, now that I've got the small-talk done, I'm puzzled as to why my anti-virus (BitDefender) is blocking access to the GETTING STARTED page on the following website:

https://intensecoin.net/#

All other tabs are fine. I can see my miner doing it's thing. Hashes seem good.

The GETTING STARTED tab though sends BitDefender on a loopy-loo. No idea why!?!?

I can understand why the AV thinks my miner software (XMR-STAK) is malicious, and so it's running from an excluded directory - it plays along fine.

Why the GETTING STARTED tab in particular, and none of the the other tabs? It's very odd.

Nothing untoward seems to have happened to my PC. I mean, I don't seem to be in any way "infected", and I've checked.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Page is not blocked when I try to access it. I also use bitdefender. Not sure why it happens to you. May be try running malwarebytes to see if your pc is already infected?

Thanks for the reply. Malwarebytes says I have some Riskware (miners) [to be expected], and some Adware which I've removed.

Nothing to explain the weirdness I experienced. Hopefully just a transient anomaly.

Just to prove I'm not talking nonsense. See above link for screenshot.

BitDefender does not like the GETTING STARTED tabbed page on https://intensecoin.net/#

I believe its because of Riskware and have emailed Devteam at BitDefender.
