NXTpool.net is closed! Domain and website for sale!
It was a test and an experience. All deposits are paid back. Let's see, what the future brings. I will focus my work on nextcoin.org and NXTclient.net.
Thanks. Dear NXT-community!Let me announce our first NXT related project called
NXTpool.
Who we are?We are two people from Germany who believe in NXT and we think, we need a trusted pool for all the NXT'rs out there, who haven't enough NXT to forge alone. Since December 2013 we are involved in NXT on different sites, like NeXTcoin.org and BitCoinTalk.org. The admin of
NXTpool.net is known as
punkrock in the community of crypto currencies. He's also a moderator on NeXTcoin.org and on NXTalk.org.
Why choose Us?We are running our pools on Linux. The machine will never be used for anything else. All passwords are >100 characters long. Of course, we are using our pools too. Believe us: We will do everything to protect your NXT! At least we are in best contact with the lead developer of the NXT-client,
Jean-Luc and we are using only his legit releases.
Developers and coders wanted! We try to build up
NXTpool.net as fast as possible. It's still in beta phase but working 100%. Anyway, there are many things to do. For now we are running NXTPOOL.NET 100% manually and that's a lot of work, but our goal is to run things like "automatic payout after every block" and "automatic easy pool-joining and -leaving". That's our priority. We hope to get enough NXT the next month to pay some developers. If anyone wants to help us for free, you're welcome!
Frequently Asked QuestionsWhen does a pool round starts and ends?Every round starts on the first of each month, 8pm (CET) and ends 48 hours before the next round starts. Within this 48 hours new NXT'rs will have the chance to join the upcoming round. NXT'rs who don't leave their pool(s), will automatically join the next round. Be sure you
do not join a round while it's running - join in within our "48-hours-time-window". Visit
our website to check for available pool slots.
Can I buy more than one slot?Yes. For example, just send 50,000 to buy five slots at our Rookie Pool, or 50,000 for two slots at the Amateur pool. We recommend that you get into the biggest pool. If you have 50,000 NXT, it would make no sense to buy five slots for the Rookie Pool. You better buy two slots at the Amateur Pool, because its maximum pool balance is bigger than the max. pool balance of the Rookie Pool. BIGGER POOL = MORE BLOCKS = MORE NXT!
How much NXT will I get out of this (profit distribution)? For example, the third round starts at 2014-04-01, 8pm (CET) and ends at 2014-04-28, 8pm (CET). Every time a pool earned fee in this round, it will be added to the pool and at the end of the round, every pool member who joined the round before it started, will get % of all earned fees.
Examples of profit distribution- If a pool round has 5 members at starting time, you'll get 20% of all earned fees at the end of the round.
- If a pool round has 10 members at starting time, you'll get 10% of all earned fees at the end of the round.
- If a pool round has 50 members at starting time, you'll get 2% of all earned fees at the end of the round.
- If a pool round has 100 members at starting time, you'll get 1% of all earned fees at the end of the round.
What if I join a pool while a round is running?Don't do that. That's a problem we are working on. In the future we hope to make this all automatically (developers and coders contact us!). For now, we are running the pools 100% manually. To make it fair for all NXT'rs, who joined a pool round within the "48-hour-time-window", we can not consider your deposit for a running round if you join a round while it's already running. So make sure, you send your NXT within the "48-hour-time-window". To make it easy for all of you, every round starts on the first of each month at 8pm (CET). Of course you can get your money back, if you want... minus a fee of 100 NXT (1 NXT regular fee and 99 NXT allowance).
Is it possible to leave a pool round whenever I want to?Yes, it's possible, but you will get no earned fees. You'll only get your send money back... minus a fee of 100 NXT (1 NXT regular fee and 99 NXT allowance). If you are into a pool one month or longer, you won't have to pay 100 NXT. If you're leaving the pool after a month membership, you only have to pay 1% of your.
An example: With 10,000 NXT you can buy one slot at the rookie pool. After a month the rookie pool with 100 members earned 10,000 NXT fees, every member get 100 NXT.
If you leave the pool you'll get: 10,000 NXT (buy in) + 100 NXT (profit distribution) - 10 NXT (fee) = 10,090 NXT (total).
Fee overview:- Leaving the pool within your first round = 100 NXT and you don't get any profit distribution
- Leaving the pool after your first round = 1% of your profit distribution
- Joining a pool too late and then want to leave while the round is running = 100 NXT
How to leave a pool?If you want to leave your pool, send an e-mail using the contact formular at
NXTpool.net.
