You don't need to be verified to trade smaller amounts, only if you want to withdraw more than 2 BTC do you need verification. For most of us that means, we can trade anonymously which is a nice feature to have!

I really think It's really because Binance has a user friendly interface and it's really easy to use especially for beginners. Binance is also one of the leading exchanges here, so I really think that investors wanted their token to be on binance its really because they wanted for their token to be known by a lot of other investors so that they can increase the price of the token.

I think this is just a matter of taste and comfort of its users. I see 2018 is the year for binance and maybe other Asian exchanges. I remember last year there were still many investors who shouted when trex (bittrex), when polo (poloniex).

Last year around this time it was "WHEN POLONIEX" and year before that it was "WHEN CRYPTSY" or "WHEN MINTPAL"

Newbs seem to think that by getting listed on a big exchange price will shoot way up and they will get rich, when in reality it doesn't matter and rarely do listings yield substantial gains that last!

Over time binance's grip on the market will diminish as more exchanges come out that are just as good as binance.

Practically speaking, people want it on binance because it is the highest volume exchange in the world.
More volume means higher amounts of buys and sells, which can drive prices up (or down).
Ico investors are eager to make a quick profit.

Another reason is because binance has become some weird golden standard for icos.
There's this feeling that if the project gets on binance, it is legitimate and has hit a milestone.
The reason why they feel this is because binance is very expensive to get on (or a coin/token can win a popularity vote) and it has to have at least an MVP.
So it's kind of like a sign to investors that progress is being made.

The whole thing is nonsense really.
There are so many high volume exchanges out there and lately, newly listed coins don't necessarily pump at all.

Well, Binance is one of the best Centralized exchange in cryptos world, they charge higher before a coin is listed on the exchange, they are the most popular and easiest exchange for cryptos.

Time changes so fast, i remember everyone used to ask when polo after an ico just one year ago then it changed to when trex and now when binance, im not sure but this question is mostly asked by dumpers or flippeners who want to make a quick buck as soon as it lists.
