Two type of interest, 99% should concerned more about the price, wallets created are mostly associated to exchanges, not really cold wallets for daily crypto transactions uses. Its good for profit seekers, but those that longed bitcoin to get adopted is not likely these days. I am agree, more people join in crypto, it create new ecosystem and i think its good for mass adoption. More people right now have more knowledge about cryptocurrency and recognize this is a digital asset and good investment for the future. If crypto community growing more bigger, i think more big company will accept bitcoin or others crypto for payment.

The average person joining crypto now are not scammers but newbies looking for a quick way to make money, the problem with this is that scammers are expecting this and they are preparing themselves and are doing everything they can to get the money of those people, and it seems it is working since there are a lot of complains of people that lost their money recently to scammers.

It is a shame that something like this happens but when people do not take seriously the security of their coins then they are partly to blame for what happens to their coins.
