As title states, I have 7 computers, yes 7, locally ran and owned, and was going to sell them for parts, but was like, "HEY, HOLD THE PHONE, I CAN MAKE MINERS OUT OF THESE"

Code:
Time of this report: 6/5/2018, 19:52:41
             Machine name: DESKTOP-358O18G
         Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 10586) (10586.th2_release_sec.160630-1736)
                 Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
      System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
System Model: HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF PC
                     BIOS: Default System BIOS
                Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz
                   Memory: 4096MB RAM
      Available OS Memory: 3984MB RAM
Page File: 1496MB used, 3895MB available
              Windows Dir: C:\Windows
          DirectX Version: 11.1
      DX Setup Parameters: Not found
User DPI Setting: Using System DPI
System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
          DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled
                 Miracast: Not Available
Microsoft Graphics Hybrid: Not Supported
           DxDiag Version: 10.00.10586.0000 64bit Unicode

So, that is the specs of all the computers, if needed, I can add a bit more ram to 4 of them. I'm using CPU mining as well, as the onboard GPU is a bunch of malarchy garbage.

Any help would be appreciated. I would love to know how to upgrade my h/s on these machines, and/or increase value of the hash.

these are not the best cpus for mining, but you can give it a try. i am not sure if it is a waste of energy. depends on what you pay.

maybe look into this thread -> Best CPU Mineable Coins in 2018 and CPU Mining Guides -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2683343.0

you can also try to calculate here which coin is worthwhile for cpu mining. -> https://whattomine.com/

hope that helps you a little further. good luck.

So you're already mining with it

what are you mining?

what miner are you using?

what's your settings?

this is to identify if there's a need to tweak your settings

the only good oen that i know can deliver some profit, are verium and zoin, and maybe magi, these are the best cpu minable coin, but usually i would not mine cpu coin, they are a botnet fest...

What dows mean i5 ASIC Processor ?
You can mine only cpu minable algos and force with botnets.
Look at Yescript16/32 algo coins
I am ad you new released coin for search

I was mining ByteCoin but was only getting 120 hashes, when I could have been getting maybe 300 h/s using OC. A friend of mine said that I could be making more if I had better CPUs but apparently, these ones are fine for mid level use. And the above comments state that I need a botnet because CPU mining is dead, I need a botnet as well to do it?

It can be profitable unless it has electricity and free internet and if it doesn't have both then it should forget mining with CPU.

For increases Hashrate should buying GPUs then it Mod or OC

Your best bet with cpu mining would be Zoin coin since its only Cpu mining coin that is the most profitable right now, otherwise try nicehash. Unless you dont pay electricity i dont recommend doing so.

bro mining with cpu is not profitable

the best for you you buy some gpu cards and start your mining rigs.. that more profit

as far as I know, if you want to increases hash rate should increases processor spec if mining use CPU.

in here I not talking about profit because some member has its explained, you can mining ETN, XMR, BYTEcoin and another coins as long as can be mined with CPU. let's check this topic:

You'll make more money selling them for parts lol

And a core i5 is not an ASIC.

So, I'm an idiot.

Legit, so I get around 573 h/s per machine, so that's 4010 h/s  (This is without OC because these computers are bios locked, can't set a clock speed on the bios)

So realistically, I can get up to 640 h/s on each machine if I OC, and electricity wise, I'll make about 189$ a month. I've ran countless Items before, but I'm prepared to run these computers constant.

I'll try Zion Coin, I was trying ByteCoin but my coins mined isn't what I really was looking for.

Also, make sure the machines aren't dirty and/or running too hot- CPU mining's intensive on the CPU and thus they'll generate a bit of heat. Monitor temperatures on the machines when you start mining so they don't overheat. I often observe that on old machines like yours the heatsinks are clogged with dust and thus run hot.

I'm sure the author will avoid problems with computers if he replaces the thermal paste with thermal conductivity from 4 W / (m · K) and higher or will supply good coolers for processors with 90-130 watts TDP.
