suggestion

so, this isnt an anime or a movie, but if you like audio books, I recommend the following 2 series

The Dresden Files (like 13 or so books, with the last one due sometime this year).

This one is about a wizard in modern day chicago who runs a private investigation business, its got some humor to it, hes the in your face dont take crap from anyone type with a witty personality. I personally love this series and on audio book the voice acting and narration is amazing. (Done by James Marsters aka spike from buffy the vampire slayer).

The Iron Druid Chronicles (this is like 6 books)

This one is about a 2000+ year old Druid who runs a magic shop in modern day Arizona, gets involved in all sorts of stuff. The cool thing about this is that the book series gets into all the various pantheons of religion. Norse mythology, celtic mythology, all sorts of great stuff. Also has a bit of humor in it, just the right amount.
