News: Bitcoin won't be Global Currency

I got caught up in this news last 6 hours ago, most of us participants are hoping that Bitcoin will someday become a Global Currency, why is that?

Any thoughts or opinions about this?

To be global currency, bitcoin should accepted by most country in the world. Many country in the world wont issuing regulation on bitcoin if used for payment. I think its hard to make bitcoin as global currency, because central banks must be want to take control on supply

I think it's not genuine. Bitcoin is the best, most oldest and most importantly the most obedient crypto currency throughout the world. Not by yourself me many of the economist go along gone to that it's just a business of period once bitcoin will be a global currency.
Bitcoin is the demand of tallying generation people. Due to it's manageable transition, availability people high regard crypto currency difficult than flat money.

I do not agree with this view. Although it is difficult to be sure of this. But according to the way BTC has shown in the past few years, I still put a lot of trust in BTC, I still expect Bitcoin to become the first electronic currency to be used to replace the dong traditional money, because of the utility that it brings to human life

I believe Bitcoin will be the next world currency because the US government has not gone to war with it and is not on the media 24/7 brain washing their population about the sever danger of using such a horrible technology.  The governments allow Bitcoin so they are Bitcoin.

yes I agree, it is very difficult for bitcoin to become a global currency, many countries forbid bitcoin from being used as a currency for payment transactions, this greatly inhibits bitcoin from becoming a global currency, so in my opinion it takes a long time for bitcoin to become a global currency

Well bitcoin is one currency that has shown so much potential within a short period of time. Bitcoin was invented with a great and unique ideology never seen or heard of before. It will surely become a global currency as the world continues to see it's potential thereby adopting it's usage.

Time will answer everyone in the world since its inception so Bitcoin is showing its development and improving itself. Although the government in some places has introduced laws to limit Bitcoin, there are also countries that accept Bitcoin and allow citizens to use it. I believe that Bitcoin will become an important global currency as time is the trend of the times so there is nothing that can be prevented.

Bitcoin can't be global currency and their are many reason behind this. Bitcoin is a decentralised currency which means it doesn't under control of any kind of authority or government and many government doesn't want any outside currency in their country on which they have no control. Another reason is bitcoin is a highly volatile currency which means its price doesn't stable and for this the share market of many countries influence. Bitcoin is also involved many serious criminal activities like malware attacks, cryber crime etc.

I'm not too concerned about the future of bitcoin which may not be a global currency, because the fact that now without global currency status bitcoin is still developing and helping many people in financial terms. Although I am sure that with that status will help more people enter the market, but I don't think that is too important as long as I can still enjoy bitcoin.

Global adaptation is the ultimate goal of crypto specially Bitcoin. Only major Fiats are considered as global currency cause you can trade or use them in everywhere. Bitcoin is almost global. Asia, Africa, Europe, America and Australia, people are using btc as a currency. People want a secure way to transact which is cheap, easy, less time consuming and hazard free. BTC fulfills those criteria (almost). The underlying block chain tech is quite impressive and I think BTC is going to be a global currency.

Too early for you to state such thing, I think Bitcoin has a shot and opportunity in becoming a global currency, nothing is impossible, and I think it is not impossible for that to happen, you may think of me as an optimist, but in my own perspective and opinion, I really do think that Bitcoin can become a global currency.

It is just a matter of time for btc to become a global currency it just need a little of our support for it to move that high..
If a few country just legalize it the way others are doing now it will turn global sooner or than we have ever expected.
