I understand everything, but why they are competitors, because they have different price categories, after which you can not compare them. What do you think?

The only thing that could compete with them is Tezos If they ever deliver what promised on the whitepaper but with LN being around the corner, It's going to be hard for any altcoin to surpass bitcoin.

Bitcoin is superior to its value and big name, very hard for other altcoins to beat Bitcoin, but Bitcoin is too expensive, not everyone can afford it, so altcoin is another solution for those of you who do not have enough money to invest in cryptocurrency, you are free to choose other altcoin accordingly your desires and abilities.
