The South Korean government had to clarify its position in response to the recent decision of the Supreme Court of the country.
In fact, the latter stated that crypto-currencies are assets whose value can be measured. The position of the Government should be different from that of the Supreme Court.

With the south korea talk I think it will bring a good impact for the price of cryptocurrency or bitcoin, and I hope it will be followed by other countries.

Well, it is a positive news for the crypto industry. As it is declared as an asset by the supreme court of the country. I think it will bring good days for bitcoin and that this asset can be measured.

Well, it is true that this news would bring the big impact to Bitcoin which is good effects to it's adaptation and legalization. In the past few days there are a lot of negative news that spreading worldwide about bitcoin and so sad because that is really affecting to btc movements until atlast now there's a good news came and many of us hoping that it could really help to Bitcoin and I believe that someday other countries will finally recognized the true essense and importance of btc to us.

The news to me could see some amount of regulation in south Korea because varing the supreme court judgement, Financial services commission states that btc is seen as assets that can be confisticated where it is used for illicit deals. Thus, If there will be confistication, that means there will definitely be regulation.

It is however, a great news that will keep increasing the popularity of bitcoin and cryptocurrency just like we are noticing with other countries like Australia etc.

It's good to hear this news. With so regulation, it will be more clear, then the opportunity for the development of cryptocurrency in South Korea more wide open. I'm sure, the development of the global cryptocurrency will experience significant growth in the foreseeable future. However if the decision of the Supreme Court Crypto, can be accepted by other officials.

By this decision, the South Korean court recognized that bitcoins have real value. This is a huge leap in the adoption of Crypto currency! Tracking transactions in a distributed book, the authorities seized 191 out of 216 BTCBTC. Thanks to them, the treasury of the state will be replenished by $ 1.4 million. Another $ 645,000 from the defendant will be withdrawn in cash.

The news is positive, but the fact that the market as something strongly reacts, I can not believe it. The price is too inflated. Support at the level of 6 thousand. I think this is the real price of bitcoin, at this stage. We need more new investors and more positive news. This is still not enough.

We always welcome news like this, no matter what the outcome of the decision is, because it helps us to plan out roadmap for the use of Crypto currencies in these countries. Uncertainty will just stall growth and the implementation of innovative projects in those countries. Let's take exchanges as an example. If a government had made no decision on the legalization or the status of Crypto currencies in their country, then exchanges will not expand their operations into these countries.

Just note that the lack of regulation or a clear decision, will not stop Bitcoin from being used in those countries.  Wink

I think governments have started to understand the potential of crypto. It is true that an asset can be measure. The Indian government is also planning on to take the benefits out of crypto which is why they have planned to treat crypto currencies as goods and hence they are going to tax it as per the rules of GST.
These news might influence the crypto market and hence can result in a green market very soon. I would really hope that BTC along with the other altcoins increase in their prices very soon.

I do see this as a positive news because it is one step towards the legal status of cryptocurrencies. We know that governments are greedy for the control and thus they won't allow decentralized infrastructure easily but on the other hand, the supreme court would take decisions based on the utility value and in this case, the court is recognizing crypto and we should appreciate it.

South Korea took this decision based on its benefits and they are concern about tech so they are very much interested about this crypto currency system so if the com in this market then this market will be benefited also the price will be increase also & this will help their people to earn more profit.

I can't understand why South Korea is so hostile to the cryptocurrency? Why they can't just implement a tax on cryptocurrency and receive income? Embarrassed
