I believe when more coins emerge into the crypto market the total amount of volume still remain but will be lessen for most of the coins. Investors will look at diversifying their investment rather than just holding onto one or two coins waiting for them to rise. Unless new funds are injected into the market then there will be a posibility that btc price will remain.

Well it can also raise BTC prices, if bitcoin remains stable it means slowly more money will go into altcoins, then as altcoin prices rise and people liquidate their positions that money flows back into Bitcoin, raising the prices of BTC and alts go down again.

From economic point of view, emergence of new coins has no negative effect on the price of Bitcoin or altcoins because these altcoins have different economic concepts. The demand for these products and services varies so there is no way it could impact a general effect on the crypto market. However when the price of bitcoin dips or soars the market is affected because bitcoin is the base currency that determines the general movement of other altcoins if all things becomes equal.

No, it has nothing to do with it. Among the factors that influence the price of bitcoin is not the creation of new cryptocurrencies. In fact, last year many new cryptocurrencies were created and the price of bitcoin skyrocketed.

Maybe it has relevance, because before, when the alts were down, the bitcoin price rises up, or in short it is inversely proportional, and it was few years ago. Then last year was really unexpected, due to the change of phenomenon, it changes to directly proportional to it.

It can let it go down or go up! Actually it could happen that diversification of the investment in the bitcoin and altcoin can make the bitcoin go down. Because it is simple fact that any alts making good progress in the time can capture the investments of many users and thus shook the base of bitcoin for a while.

However, bitcoin is far stronger than alts and thus effect of altcoins could be very temporary. I mean this is complex as we never know whether all the investments will go to one stream surely or not. That is an altcoin! Or may be not!

In reality, there's no real effect from my own opinion as bitcoin is still the well known digital currency that will be used by people who understand the
chain, even each days we seen new projects that appears, in most cases its still needs bitcoin knowledge beforehand and investors will joined, no real usage means no real competition against the first crypto unless the said coins will be promoted by certain company whereas the means of transactions will be cater, still depend on certain aspects and supports coming from investors and traders.

There are coins that doesn't real usage but they have real market, you know what I mean? As long as there's community for those coins they can contribute not only to bitcoin but to the market as well.

As long as these coins are being traded and there are people who are buying and selling it still those coins will have effect for bitcoin, you need bitcoin before buying those alts.
