Hi! Do you know if there's a way to display the total amount of received Merit in a subsection as a graph? I know about this part on Bitcointalk Merit Dashboard: https://public.tableau.com/profile/ddmrddmr#!/vizhome/BitcointalkMeritDashboard/SectionSubsection I could just create a graph on my own using these numbers but I'm too lazy ( ) and if there's an option users could do this any time they want. In addition, there are 2 new Hero Member this week: 1miau -> Hero from Old Era Newbie during Merit System kick-off. morvillz7z -> Hero from Old Era Newbie during Merit System kick-off.

There is a chart there that does it (use the tab near the end called Received Merit Subsection), although to see the numbers behind you need to hover over the lines on the chart itself: https://public.tableau.com/shared/M5SYHD9DT?:display_count=yes&:origin=viz_share_linkThe timeframe is adjustable, as are the compared subsections. P.D. Yep.. congrats ..

Many thanks for your answer. But unfortunately that's not really what I need. I was searching for a chart where the monthly distributed Merits of a Subsection are displayed (visualized as chart), like here in your table: But as bar chart or similar (to visualize how much Merit was distibuted each month), like that: Yes, I could easily use your numbers, create a chart in excel and that's it but I thought there's an option on your website maybe.

Rather than a line, I prefer vertical bars in this case. If added an additional tab near the end called "Received Merit Subsection 2” where you can filter by one or more subsections. Selecting a single subsection is optimal, but some combinations will makes sense whilst looking fine on the chart (selecting all subsections looks dreadful). The result is something like this ( https://public.tableau.com/shared/WD42KC77P?:display_count=yes&:origin=viz_share_link):

Sometimes a visualisation is much better than a table or a list of numbers. Much appreciated, I owe you a Merit.

Out of sMerits, I owe you some. Edit: got a smerit, sent a merit. I owed you one.

@1miau, @fillippone:
I’ll give it a go this week when I get a chance (haven’t got my laptop here now) to try to enhance it a bit (for example, I’d like to be able to select the time scale for the bars– i.e. Month (default), week, Quarter).
Also, on @fillippone’s local board I’ve seen the published charts and, for some weird reason, the numbers do not show on top of the bars except for Germany. I thought I checked that before publishing, but it may have slipped.
The idea of placing more than one chart side by side might be hard to do. I’ll take a look into it, but for quick comparisons we can use the "Received Merit Subsection” Tab: The format is that of one line per selected subsection, displaying the accumulated received merits overtime. Regardless, I’ll see if it is feasible to implement.
Edit: @1miau, @fillippone: Added a filter called "Date Level Selector" to the "Received Merit Subsection II" tab that allows us to see the Received Merits now by: - Year - Quarter - Month (default) - Week - Day - Day of Week - Hour

Nice. Thank you very much ddmrddmr. I would merit you if I weren’t in a smerit drought. I owe you one.
Edit: I sent the promised merit. Not much, but the drought continues!

Edit 02/10/2019:I’ve created a new Tab called Merit Senders /Receivers (fourth from the left) which lets us see most of the information shown in sMerit participants – a worrying descending trend (!/?), but from a monthly perspective: The novel elements are nFromUsers (Senders) which represents the total number of distinct users that sent sMerit on a given month, and nToUsers (Receivers) which is the total number of distinct recipients of sMerit in a given month. - If we apply no filters, we get the general forum-wide overview. - We can filter by UserFromName (or Id), to see the amount of distinct people we merit per month. - Likewise, filtering by UserToName (or Id) will display the number of distinct people that have merited that profile. - Similarly, applying the Section/Subsection filter allows us to see the number of meriters and merited by that concept ( i.e. local board). Looking over the charts, the number of senders is pretty low (1.024 during September 2019 vs 1.890 during August 2018 – September 2018 was when a bunch of new merit sources were added).

Who merited you (size is proportional to the amount of sMerits they sent you):
It looks fantastic, me in pink (or is it lavender?) in the middle But don't show this to CH - all his favorite targets are right there in big colorful letters.

I’m pretty much colour blind; used to paint cows green and pastures brown as a kid. As a teenager I used to have issues with my friends pointing to chicks by referencing the colour of their dress. I can probably see pink there though. Lavender is out of my chromatic range … Yep, some really do stand out is size (and probably colour).

And this is not a joke because I have the same disorder and I can never name the colors correctly although I see them. But here I see clearly myself in yellow and close to the center, which is good looking at the usernames .
