Hola @ddrmddmr, I update my usual thread on the italian board using your Dashboard. In a couple of graphs I had a few problems. Can you help me with this graph? The puzzling point is that from the left box, analising post in the italian board between 01/08/2020 0:00:00 and 01/09/2020 0:00:00, I know the top merited post has 10 merits, while from the right box, I see there are two posts with 13 merits transaction. How can this add up? There is an inconsistency I think between the two tables. My guess is that on the right table, the total merit Tx are considered, and any post that received a TX in that month actually displays the full TX history, without considering the applied time filters. The weird thing is that apparently the same is not true for the other (left) table. More weird thing happens: Filtering in the "most merited tab" I see the top three posts have 11 merits! Can you clarify why is this happening?

I’ve checked the expected output on the DB itself, and whilst the first table displays the same values, the second doesn’t. If I eliminate the filter, then the second table is correct (for overall data). -> I’ll take a look into it. The Top 3 posts display the number of received merits within the filtered timeframe. During August 2020, they’ve receive 11 sMerits each, regardless of the fact that the first post of the three received some additional sMerits outside the filtered timeframe.

Mhh so I wouldn't expect to se a single post with 10 merits on the first table, but 3 with 11 merits as per "the top merited" tab. I think all thre tables are not coherent with each otehr.

<…>
Let’s forget for now the accuracy of the second table (the issue is not easy to fix, and happens when applying the date filters to it (*)):- The first table indicates the nature of the sMerit TXs awarded. What were are analysing here is " How many sMerits are awarded in each TX", and summarizing that. - The second (which I need to see how to fix) shows the number of TXs per post. Here we are (trying/) responding to is " How many sMerit TXs did a each post receive. - The Top Merited posts answers, "What is the sum of sMerits that a post receives" (in the given period and board). Therefore, the first table is saying that the single highest sMerit TX (applying the filters) is of 10 sMerits. The third table (Top Merited Posts) say that 3 posts received 11 sMerits each on aggregate (from 1 or n TXs, not just one). In fact, all 3 11 sMerited posts show on the table as having received those sMerits from an aggregate of 4,2 and 7 distinct users respectively. https://public.tableau.com/shared/YZ8P652ZW?:display_count=y&:origin=viz_share_link(*): It's adding up all the TXs, regardless of the date filter (until I find a solution). Fixed + added TX counter to Most Merited Posts /Threads tab.

Notes: -Copper Members and non-native ranks (staff, etc) are displayed as real (regular) ranks.- Few minor adjustments: * I Trashed the "Reciprocal Merit tab" (I needed to load all the sMerit TXs twice to reproduce the content, and it was getting too slow). * The TX Tab no longer has a date slider. Instead, I’ve placed a year/month multi-selectable dropdown box, defaulting to the current month. That speeds the screen loading. * The section/subsection tab dropped the TX list at the bottom, since it was slowing screen load and was barely useful there.

This guy's work never failed to amaze me. There is always a great dedication towards the forum and cryptocurrency. I was staring of some data and users that kicked off from being newbie to legendary in rank. These are kind of motivation especially when one wishes to rank up or grow in bitcointalk forum. Well, whatever it will going to happen the best part is that we are enjoying the stay in the forum and earn a little bit as an incentive in learning about cryptocurrency especially bitcoin.

I joined BTT for nearly 1 year but mostly do Bounty programs. I still do not understand what merit is and how to get merit to be able to get up the ranks on BTT. Is there a Pro who can guide me.Thank you!!
In that case you should start with FAQ: Everything you need to know about forum 'activity, account ranks and merit where you can find out more what merit is and how to get it. Just to warn you, in order to get some merit and rank up, you will have to change your posting habits dramatically, and start being active outside of bounty campaigns section. Get yourself familiar with other parts of the forum, be helpful and ready to learn and you will rank up, eventually. Seeing how you quoted whole big post just to ask a question, you should also read this useful guide made by @tranthidung Bitcointalk posting etiquette.

Your question was answered by Rikafip yesterday. Your post was deleted and I think it was deleted by a report as spam by someone. Did you read the answer of Rikafip? Why did you make another copy paste of deleted post? You won't get a merit by doing this. Sorry.
