Damn! Bittersweet update. I saw my new record of 52 consecutive days with merit. But I am now almost back to the starting point.

Aggregate awarded sMerit for the last complete week (24/05/2021 .. 30/05/2021) is 2.888, which is down 33,64% from the previous week.
-> This mark is an ATL, so I'm wondering if my data is completely correct (it seems so, but I'll wait for other compiled stats by other forum members this week-end to contrast against).

This is some serious drop! Out of curiosity, what was the previously biggest weekly drop, was it anywhere close to this one, or difference between is so big that makes you doubt your numbers?

Anyway, good to see that despite this weekly drop, last month wasn't the new all time low (that record holds April 2021 with 15551 merit shared) but looking at monthly amount of merit shared, trend is obvious so I hope that theymos reconsiders either introducing new merit sources, or readjust the monthly merit allocation to the existing ones.

fillippone received merit in 413 consecutive days. From January 27, 2020 to March 14, 2021.

You can check list of users with big number of merit streaks on "Received Merit Streak" tab.

I see, thanks. Well, that fall after 10th anniversary art contest was kinda expected, so yeah, looking forward to other member's merit data before I finish that monthly overview.

I see you have renamed "Post Count Evolution" into "Local Board Post Count Evolution". Now I cannot find anymore the total number of posts in a single month in the whole forum. Can you suggest how can  I source this information on the dashboard?

I don't know if there are other ways, but you can see total number of posts in "Merit per Post" table, just select the specific month that you wanna see and scroll all the way to the bottom. I only really changed the Tab’s caption in order to align it with the actual content being displayed. The content is in fact the same as usual (delimited to Local board information). As @Rikafip stated, the merit/post tab does have the count for all boards (per board, not overall aggregate).

Nice to see the increase, but when looking at the total amount of merit shared during June (in first ~17 days), I have a feeling that we might see yet another all time low (current ATL is April with 15551). Only 6982 merits shared and 13 days left, so unless there is some sudden increase, total number won't be good at all.

Just to mention what I’ve already stated a few times, we’re talking about net posts here, derived from the forum stats, and comparing the difference between two periods of time (i.e. end of month compared to end of last month). Net post criteria is subject to variability from factors I cannot drill into, such as:

-   Number of Newly created posts
-   Number of moved posts (between boards)
-   Number of deleted posts
-   The occasional reindex

Merit number wise projection I concur, and I must say that, for multiple reasons, my personal merit awarding habits are dropping lately (some factors are personal, time related, whist others are content and volume related).

It’s due to the merits awarded to deleted posts. The merit per post view does not have a "deleted" board (since it does not exist to count the posts on), but the merit/board sent/received does. Even so, it’s still 3 merits off for some reason I need to look into.

Edit:
The 3 merits I mentioned were off because they were awarded to posts in Marketplace that have since been deleted (the posts). This happens due to the moment each dataset is calculated:

-   A) Merit sent/Merit received: weekly
-   B) Merits/post: montly

So deleted posts with merit are reflected each week in the Merit sent/Merit received tabs, but no until the end of month in the Merit/post tab.

To reiterate, the gross difference you found was due to deleted merited posts being included in "A", but not in "B" (they don’t have a post count section derivable from the forum stats).

Wow!  That is truly amazing that he got merited that consistently, and that's one hell of a long streak.  Props to you, filippone.

I think I took note of some of my streaks, but I never really kept track--I think I'll check that tab out and see if I can view my longest streak.  It's probably not that long, certainly nowhere near filippone's.  Frankly, I hit the 4000 merit mark (1000 of which were airdropped in Jan 2018), so I'm content with that.  If I never received another merit I'd be completely fine with that. 

In fact, in the past I've urged people not to merit me, but to save those merits for lower-ranked members who could use them to rank up.  I haven't written such a statement in a while, so I guess it's time to again:  Don't merit me!  I appreciate the appreciation, but other members need the merits and I don't.

There is no need to bother finding your username on that long list. If you want to see your own streaks, just enter your user ID.
As displayed in the following image, your longest streak is 17 days.

Thank you for finding that for me!  I did try to visit the page but for some reason it wouldn't load, and I just gave up after a while.

And man....I was certainly correct that my longest streak was nowhere near Filippone's.  Not even close (although if I had to guess when I wrote my previous post I would have thought it was longer).  Nevertheless, streaks don't matter to me personally because I know there are some days when I don't post much--or at all--and some days when what I post probably doesn't catch anybody's attention enough such that they want to merit any of it.  

If I'm honest, my merit count has mattered less and less to me as time has passed, though it does supply me with sMerits I can redistribute to other members when my source sMerits run out.  That's me, though.  There's nothing wrong with being proud of the merits you've earned or what your longest streak was.  Despite what a lot of members say, merits aren't easy to earn.  If they were, we'd have far more members ranking up past Jr. Member each activity period, and though I don't know what the exact numbers are on that, I'm pretty sure it's much, much lower than it was before the merit system was foisted upon the forum back in 2018.

That wasn't my intention; I meant what I wrote, but I do thank you for the merits nevertheless.  As I mentioned, more merit received=more sMerits I can send when Theymos doesn't replenish my source sMerits.

At first this weekly increase may sound good and optimistic, but when you check the total amount of merit shared during June which is 10,711 and considering only six days left until end of the month we will most likely reach new all time low (current one is April 2021 with 15551). Then again, that was pretty obvious since last week, that we are heading towards new ATL.

Wee mistake of mine with the legit copy/paste/adapt on the referenced post with the dates (now amended)...

Actually, I pumped 128 merits on one of my occasional remeriting sprees on the 20th, so those are accounted for in the 13,49% increase (that alone accounted for 4,5 of those perceptual points). The weekly increase or decrease is not that significant, but rather the trend as you imply. That is easier analysed here:

Bearing in mind that the current month is yet partial, we could compare May 2021 (15.802 merits) to May 2020 (23.874 merits) and the sliding inter-monthly trend in between. On the other hand, the number of net created posts has also decreased noticeably in that period of time. Personally, I find less posts to merit now than some months ago.
