cgminer.exe deleted from internet?

Hi,

I was trying to download cgminer 3.7.2 from this link: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/3.7/.
But it doesn't include cgminer.exe. Now I tried downloading it on Windows 7, 8.1 and xUbuntu, but in all systems it doens't show. I tried shutting down the AV on windows 7 but even then it didn't appear.

Could anyone help me with this?

Download WinRAR from http://www.rarlabs.com first. Then download one of the TAR files. It will open with WinRAR then you can open the EXE files inside them.

You must have some eyesight issues, there's no .exe file in there, it's the source.

You have to PM the creator of cgminer or make a post in the cgminer thread asking for it.

IIRC, cgminer 3.7.2 is the last version to be worked for gpu mining, right?
If that is the case, I guess ckolivas should just put the windows version 3.7.2 on the site as well.

Con removed the compiled binaries for all of his previous versions. You have 3 options:

1) download it from somewhere else. Kinda sketchy.
2) build it yourself. Pita on windows.
3) download sgminer. They have prebuilt win binaries.

If I recall correctly, I downloaded a copy that was included in GUIminer-scrypt.

But I'm not sure if you got the right idea (or I'm just a complete noob..), but I'm trying to run this from my linux (xUbuntu) machine not from my windows machine.

Is there another way to run cgminer without using the .exe file on linux?
otherwise I'll be looking into Pita (have no idea what it is )

.exe is for Windows.  You couldn't run it on Linux even if you did download it. 

Just compile from source (it's not difficult, and there's plenty of guides on the web).  Or you could use the other two miners that still support GPU mining (bfg and sg).
