Whats the most reliable pps pool.
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Deepbit PPS is a ripoff.  Something like 7% fees.

Look at ARS or Eligius.  I think they're SMPPS variations.  I think Eligius has 0% fees.

Deepbit.net has the best connectivity and uptime, but you pay a price (7% fee) to use it.
Arsbitcoin and Eligius are about the same in terms of connectivity, but some of Luke-Jr's (Eligius) comments on the forum and in IRC have made him a target of DOS attacks which are hurting them right now.

Between the two, Eligius has the better payout scheme. Once you pass a threshold (0.3BTC or so), you go into the queue. The queue is paid out in 50BTC chunks in order of age so the oldest bills(?) are paid first. It generally only takes 1-3 blocks to get paid.
Arsbitcoin uses a percentage payment scheme so if you are owed 1BTC and everyone else is owned 99BTC you get paid 50BTC /( 1 + 99) or 0.5 BTC on the first block. On the second it is 0.5 / 100 or 0.25BTC and so on. If you are continuously mining you don't notice it so much, but it takes a while for your final payment to trickle in when you stop.

I love Eligius, but they do have occasional downtime due to DDOS and other hacking attempts at their site. I havent tried DeepBit, but depending on their uptime they might be worth looking at despite the commission difference. One of the things I like and respect about Eligious is that Luke seems to be on top of the fixes, so while there are occasional hiccups the overall experience has been great.

in 180 blocks i would go to masterpool.
it is prop atm - but they will make a vote for a new payment system as soon as hoppers arive (and i will watch that VERY closely).

its just the only pool which has merged mining then Wink

EDIT:
for pure pps i like abcpool (0% fee, pays even for stales); but i am note sure if they are open for registration atm...

Deepbit's for suckers.

I would agree. Ars Bitcoin's uptime is way up there and the payouts for smpps have been the best of any pool I have tried.

I hop ..... but ars is my backup pool.  Never had a problem with them.   Seems very solid outfit.
