I am developing smart-contracts to be used for large scale project funding. More than just fund disbursement the contracts feature consensus protocols that can be used to release funds and mark progress as done.

I am forming an international development team of coders that care, we have a partnership with a leading funding agency in South Africa that is owned by the government. We have some interesting trials in place and this is a real feel good and profitable project.

We aim to crowdfund a development fund, that is controlled by a smart-contract on the Ethereum Blockchain. This means that we are bringing large scale funding into the future and ushering and age of transparency, accountability and an infallible chain of custody. We are confident that our solution will root out corruption and encourage more investment in this type of funding.

African needs capital not handouts!

Let's continue the conversation Smiley

Blockchain technology is not racist. The technology thinks about the world not about a particular country. Like bitcoin has one vision and that is to replace the flat money with digital money. So it considers Africa also. But we cannot do anything over night. Everything will be done slowly and in the right time.

Based on block Chain system we can manage this because blockchain system doest care about anything who are the people and who are they based on this in Africa only very few amount of people know about crypto market but we should let them know about this and give them benefits.

There are already some successful African ICOs available. Once example is GOLDMA which is based on a real gold mine in Zimbabwe and run on the waves platform. Perhaps you can link up with those guys and do a collaboration together.

I don't think anyone in the cryptocurrency will care about Africa. But Africa is definitely the experimental area for blockchains. Because Africa is too backward. But blockchains should be the first to land in Africa.

To be honest i do not know exactly how the blockchain could help Africa but you could create an organisation which is based at the blockchain for charity so the donators can check if their money arrived in Africa

Africa is indeed the last continent in blockchain and crypto adoption, but I think it's because it lacks required infrastructure. Besides big cities, most people don't have internet or bank accounts there. If anyone will solve those problems, it will open huge market with millions of potential clients. You may want to check Humaniq project, since they focus on Africa and are already present there with their app for unbanked people.

The cloud is the last upgrade you will ever need, so if we export data processing to eth main net we solve the tech readiness issue.

You are well read and your point is true, the potential and access to government is yielding some amazing results. Less bureaucracy and much easier to get buy in from decision makers. Blockchain solves many issues by exporting the data requirements, light users with basic internet can use advanced services relatively easily.(Most notably when delivered in mobile app format.)

Export tech requirements to the "cloud", simple dApp based users can draw from Eth main net for processing power by using dApps not Apps.
