Within my more than two-year experience in the forum, I saw higher rank users pyramid quoted
If they are mobile users, I can even understand the lack of interest. Selecting and deleting big chunks of text on a small touch screen is painstaking work.

When people start using "patrol" they will understand the quoting pyramid problems.
Can't we just ban accounts like this? Cheesy

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

this makes sense. I saw that a lot of users access to btctalk only from mobile.

One think worst than multi-quoting is a quote post with images

I think that limiting the max number of characters that can be inside a quote could solve much better the problem.

Hmmm, it might raise problems for some topics in Mining and P&D when people post a lot of code, settings and stuff like that.

Code has a different tag than quote. They can be easily differentiated.

It can be done by limiting the consecutive numbers of opened quote code >  [ q u o t e]

Sometimes it makes sense to quote a quote, else a part of the discussion may become hard to follow.
So it's hard to fine tune and take the proper decision. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it  Cheesy

If they are mobile users, I can even understand the lack of interest. Selecting and deleting big chunks of text on a small touch screen is painstaking work.

I avoid as much as possible quoting on mobile. There's more than 50% chance to open or close it badly in the first attempt.

I am not at all worried about these posts because I am not going to reply on them but sometimes you will see the  more than 3 level of quoting in normal discussion and replying on that discussion leaving you with 2 option:
1. Solve the quote manually
2. Or increase one more quote,

Most difficult quotes to reply are that follow somewhat below pattern.

This one is mentioned in my guide, that is a troll, but if there are such pyramid posts, that are very terrible despite of the fact that such post looks like art.

My small suggestion for all guys joined the topic for discussion.
Please don't pyramid quote with your replies.
Pyramid quotes make the topic looks like shit, honestly.
I don't like it no matter what kind of ideas you wrote.

I am not sure what you mean?

I've written a small userscript to handle this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5148327.0

Here's what the script did to this post by just clicking 'Quote':
