The group stages has so much difference in them that there is a lot of money to be made out of this world cup if you bet on the favorites. The odds are low but who cares as long as they are almost sure wins.

I feel like any sporting event is just a a big opportunity for both the users and the online gambling sites to make some large amount of money whether its crypto or fiat, and since world cup is probably the biggest sporting event, for sure many people would be punting their money or their cryptos into a lot of games, and probably some online betting sites will have like bonuses or something which is always good for us. |

There are plenty of betting sites that already use cryptocurrency as payment / betting method, so I am sure they will also be accepting World Cup bets in crypto (as they have done in the past with different tournaments / sports). However, that may not be the push to attract new users to cryptocurrency as I feel most of the ones placing the bets in crypto will be previous crypto users / gamblers. I do hope it brings more trading volume at least. |

It should become a booster for the current weak market situation that more likely to get dropped , a little bit confusing actually.... In the last 5 or 8 days cryptocurrency market looks in steady bearish, not sure it could have a big effect due the World Cup event that possibly makes a lot of people interested to use crypto to place their betting but one thing I can highlight that in the first day of World Cup ... Bitcoin value itself has gained around $400! Isn't it a good sign? Gambling industry actually always has a big impact into cryptocurrency market , I just feel a little bit doubt right now. |

From the time Russia and Saudi arabia match started time onwards we are seeing the bitcoin and other coins going bigger in the market bro. Russia being one of the country that give importance to bitcoin hosting the football event is the big thing for the cryptocurrency industry. If this has taken place in some other country cryptocurrency might have not got huge impact. You don't need to think about it, there are many bitcoin sports betting sites, and traditional sites that accept bitcoin. This will not be a big step forward too crypto market, but it would be interesting to see some numbers how many people made a bet with crypto, how much with fiat. People who have some crypto will bet with crypto, but I don't know how many new people will try to purchase some bitcoins in order to bet on sports with those bitcoins. I hope we will see some calculations after the end of the world cup, but who can make it and how I don't know. |

I assumed that it would happen, because crypto and games are a great blend to follow the world cup way, like the already popular gambling that provides payments through crypto and that's great there's a big advance where lots of people want to follow it, now there's a site that provides services during the World Cup, so to remain cautious also in the selection of game sites because there are still many scams everywhere that take advantage of the current world cup moments.
