Yup, a gift which is kind that you get once in a lifetime. I already stopped aiming for merits so OP need to accept that he'll be in stuck with his rank forever or unless the moderators will bring back the old system which is much fair in my opinion.

If you want to get the merit point you need to post high quality items to rank up. If you post only garbage, you will not get cannot get 1 merit point, You get merit points when someone sends you some for one of your posts. as long as you need to do learning good quality posts

Contribute and also provide quality posts that will spur you to increase the knowledge you have. It will be much better than you doing a thing that is prohibited in this forum. Believe that the quality of each user will determine what they can get. This is not a matter of account level that we have because this is how we can actively participate in forums and also provide many benefits to others. Do not expect that we will earn a lot of money when we are not trying to do the best in this forum. Everything will come according to what we have done, all of these things will greatly impact what we get later.

  Don't do that "Merit is Not for Sale". Do a hard work to earn it. Everyone of us that has a lower rank needs merit to rank up but buying is not the answer and solution for that. Just continue to make quality and meaningful post,who knows someone will give us a merit  at the right time if we deserve it.

Just to make it clear, "Merit is not for sale". Same as you I am also a junior member of this forum but I make it a point to work hard and contribute good quality post to be able to gain merit. I must admit that gaining merit is not that easy. For me it is fair enough to gain even 1 merit in a fair way.  Let us juat continue to post and don't give mods any reasons to give you negatives trust.

I wouldn't trust someone who was a few posts but hundreds or even thousands of merits unless he/ she has extremely helpful insights (which is extremely rare for a handful of post counts).

Never try to proceed with this method as you will be caught easily if one person gives you huge amount of merits as it indicates that you might have bought those merits and such system is not supported on this forum. Merit system has been introduced so that people try to improve there content on this forum and when they help anyone other users can appreciate the efforts by giving them merit. Merit will help remove spam from this forum and help in creating a clean environment.

Strongly suggest not to do that. It's against all forum rules and represents the misuse of merit system. And this is something that moderators should deal with on a severe way and warn users that such behaviour might have some consequences.
I wonder why people must always brake every rule and turn everything into profit only.

Glad to see that OP wasn't negged for this. New members come and make mistakes, they should be given the chance to rectify their errors, and be shown the correct way, rather than just discarded as is so often the case with some DT members tagging them. I think buying merit point for money is not the right way to move on in this forum we need to make some effort you to get the rank that's why the forum will introduce this meit system for all members in this forum
