[DAC] Message to users!
Recently (after block 2950) some pools faced an issue that resulted in pool crashes. In cooperation with two pool operators was discovered that the issue is not with DACash code. It was with YIIMP pool stratum code that did not work correctly with DACash daemon. That bug was fixed by the YIIMP on the pool side. After stratum update pools resumed their operation.

Unfortunately, some of pools from this list apparently did not update (being informed about that bug in pool software). Instead, they silently removed DACash coin. Since miners still ask us for help with such pools, we have to refine the list and keep only those pools that still support us and have no unresolved issues to our knowledge.

If you have issues with any pool listed here - please try to resolve issues with the pool operator first. If you unable to resolve the issue and/or can not contact the pool operator - please send us a message with details of your issue and steps you have tried to resolve it with the pool. We will step in and try to help. If the issue is on the pool's side and can not be resolved, we may consider to remove such pool from this list.

DACash Core is the latest Dash Core releases. It uses ASIC-friendly x11 hashing algorithm.
The choice was not accidental and is aimed at the miners and long-term investors working in the algorithm X11.

Yes, but only if your wallet computer has a real IP address accessible from the outside (from any other internet servers).

- Make a new receiving address called mn1 (not mandatory, but useful).
- Send exactly 1000 DAC to this address and wait for at least one confirmation.
- After single confirmation in the debug console type 'masternode outputs' - you've got collateral tx hash and index (usually 0 or 1)
- In the same console type 'masternode genkey' to get a masternode key.
- Edit masternode.conf file (you may open it using Tools menu or any editor) and add a new line by template provided:

mn1 your-ip-address:56000     masternodekey collateral-tx-hash collateral-tx-index

Here mn1 is any alias, usually the same as your mn address label from step 1, but can be any string.
your-ip-address is your wallet address accessible from outside.
56000 is DACash main port number.
masternodekey is the result of getnkey command.
collateral-tx-hash and index are results of outputs command.

- Save masternode.conf.
- Edit dacash.conf and add two lines:

masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=masternodekey # The same key as above, result of genkey command

- Save dacash.conf
- Close and restart wallet.
- After sync you should see your masternode on masternodes tab (enable tab in options if not shown)
- After you have at least 15 confirmations of collateral tx, start your masternode. It should change to PRE_ENABLED.
- In 15 minutes it should become ENABLED.

To be sure that your masternode will work, check that its port accessible from outside.

Enter your IP address and port 56000, it should report that it is open. If it is not, your masternode will expire soon, you need more tweaks to make it working.  If you are behind NAT, you have to do some more changes (forward port and maybe some others - depending on your router model, but that is outside of this short guide).

Is the amount of MN's locked out? Meaning I think its 65 MN's up for grabs in total right, that's also including miners that set up a node as well? Or just ones that are offered in the presale? Also, if a miner wanted to sell their node? Or one of them, is this possible yet?

Hello! The number of masternodes is not limited. All blocked coins are the property of users and miners. For p2p sales between miners and buyers, we are not responsible, but they are possible.
