0xcert has an excellent idea for a standard extension protocol, which makes it easy to develop non-standardized and certified alternative tokens with an on-chain and off-chain set of rules, libraries and Convention on digital certificates on blockchain.

Hey. Why did the team choose Ethereum? Did they consider any other blockchain options?
I believe that they couldn’t consider other ones due to poor base of tools for NFT. As far as i understand, only Ethereum is trying to develop this direction. Then what other blockchains are mentioned in the WP? Is this one more cheap advertising trick? The 0xcert team doesn’t deny that it is ready to cooperate with other blockchains in the future, but the blockchains themselves aren’t ready for this so far. It is normal at this point that the 0xcert team can't know what the conditions will be in a year or two from now. That's why they keep that option for future changes. |
