I have a 980TI 6GB up for raffle. I figure a raffle would be a good way to get people interested. You have a solid chance at scoring a pretty high-end GPU for extremely cheap.

Just wondering, what will happen if there aren't enough people who bite on the raffle? From my perspective, $30 is a decent amount to put down for a chance to win. Nothing's guaranteed, and the odds are against the buyer. If someone buys a certain amount of tickets can they just immediately buy the gpu off of you? I'm really interested in the card, I just don't know how much I want to get into this raffle because it's just a chance to win or (most likely) lose in the end.

If there aren't enough people interested in buying slots to this raffle, then I will also take offers for the card. If someone purchased all 16-slots then they would effectively purchase the GPU. I already have 1-slot claimed through PM (didn't pick which slot yet, will update OP when they do), so that leaves 15-tickets up for grabs. It's less than $30 for a ticket, actually it is closer to $20. That chance to win and chance to lose is the entire fun of a raffle. You might get something for dirt cheap, or you might just be out a few dollars.

If you're interested in the card, I'll take offers via PM, but I'd preferably pull a raffle.

I appreciate you stopping by and grabbing a slot, Spazzer. Hopefully this doesn't take too long to fill up, but I'm not sure how much viewership this board actually maintains. Regardless, you've been given spot "a", the claimed slot in PM was "0" (which has been paid for). That leaves 14-slots until we pick a block and pull a winner. Bitcoin price jumped downwards a little bit today, so maybe we'll have some more participants willing to throw their coin towards a raffle.
