I think software wallets are easier to use while hardware wallets are safer to use so in other words it depends on what you would choose, safety or ease of use.
I for one prefers software wallets

My question is what are some of the hardware wallets and how can one get a hardware wallet?

Hardware wallet is very good if you have big crypto asset then it is good to secure it with a hardware wallet and there are many hardware wallet but the most popular ones are
1 Trezor
2 Nano ledger

And you can get it on many shopping site like Amazon and many other shops,

From the point of security view, I certainly choose a physical wallet, where the probability of stealing your money is much less than usual. But I own small amounts of cryptocurrency, because so far I have enough and a virtual wallet. MEW, for example.

Yes, the hardware wallets are the best way to keep our funds away from hackers.  Get yourself a Ledger or TREZOR Hardware wallet, both costs less than 100$.

This also depends on the financial and nature, the number of alcoins. If you are holding a large amount, use a hard wallet. Small or small, use a soft wallet, as the cost of buying a wallet is expensive

Both of them have the same function which is to keep safe your cryptocurrency but both of them has its pros and cons, and its a personal preference, if you want, get neither of the two.
Hardware wallet.
1. A bit pricey, sometimes cost too much in order to get the best hardware for security.
2. Preferred by experienced traders/investors because of its high-security features.
3. Can be misplace/lost physically.

Software wallet.
1. Prone to Hacks.
2. Some crypto wallet can lead to bankruptcy.
3. Free w/ reasonable transaction fee which depends on your wallet.

There is  absolutely nothing wrong with software wallet! Many claim we see about hardware wallet is about marketing. Anything and everything is hackable, the resource and time for such endavour is what make it hard! Just keep your system and practise safe uses then you are good!

I can not call myself over-informed in this area, but I prefer to keep my savings on cold wallets, because I trust them much more.

Chance to crack the first, far less likely, than the second. In my opinion, I would rather trust myself and ensure the safety of their funds than any third parties.

It seems to me that here the answer as a whole is obvious, because hardware wallets always have greater security than software purses, since software wallets can be subject to greater threats than hardware wallets.

Your money is safe in hardware wallet because it is offline and it can't be stolen. Whereas , in software wallet , hackers can hack and steal all your money and you can do nothing.

Hardware wallet is really the best wallet at the moment. You can buy it. I ordered a TREZOR hardware wallet through a friend and it came out to me at $ 100.

In the event that you are a fleeting merchant and requirements subsidize much of the time, at that point I would recommend you to go for a genuine programming wallet or application. On the off chance that you are a long haul HODLer, purchase an equipment wallet like Trezor, Nano Ledger and so forth and keep your assets there. There are odds of programming wallets and application getting hacked by downloading a malignant programming in your framework. You are in charge of your own security in cryptos, do that admirably.

Now there are enough good cold wallets to choose from. I think it will not be difficult to choose the right one for everyone. It is the best storage facility

Hardware wallet is absolutely security about individual personal. Simply because it has a button to active so any hacker is also failed to access. Three main hardware wallet categories, which is usually used, are Ledger Nano S, Trazor and Keypeer with average price about 70 - 250$.

I think the hard wallet is best and most secure.  I like the ledger where you have to have possession of it for funds to be allowed to transfer.  This almost seems un-hackable unless a kidnapping occurs.

Hardware wallet is more safe than software wallets. And tenzor and ledger nano s is best if you want one. You also can make a hardware wallets in your home. If you don't hand over to another person it is safest way to keep your crypto safe from world. For a long time I used software wallets and I think its also safe if you chose right one. They also have great security . just keep your PC disconnected from internet or keep the key on a safe place. And when you open any link on PC or browser always check for malware. That's it. Most of the people use software wallets till now and its fine. And those who lost their money its their fault.

If you choose the right operating system on your device and divide your assets between different addresses(hot/cold) if you got a big amount than it will be enough to secure your savings. Honestly I don't believe hardware wallets, maybe for now and it will change someday

I think that the wallet on the computer is much safer. Hack wallet installed on your computer Is very difficult online wallet, much easier to crack.
