Yep and I lost coins because they mysteriously disappeared when I placed a trade. Unfortunately it didn't show up on the trade history either and the balance history is inadequate/missing so there was no way I could prove it. They do have support though, but it's still just a "beta" website IMO.

how can that be? , you always can get your transaction validate true http://www.blockchain.info if it is confirmed you are save.
that's the beauty about bitcoin.
If it does not appear in blockchain.info is was never send its that simple.
did you send it from gox?

That only applies when the transaction is within the blockchain. Websites and exchanges run their own internal databases that manage transactions and if they aren't programmed very specifically for financial transactions (usually atomically - so one transaction doesn't start until the previous one has finished) then you quite often will get some customers losing out to a "black hole" where one transaction will kick the other out before it's finished updating all the counters and balances. You also have to consider the possibility of what happens to a transaction that is interrupted locally (ie. the server hangs), again this can be a black hole if not planned for.
