That's why speculation is so hard. I think he has a good chance of being correct though. When bitcoin crashed from 19k to $6k, that was capitulation. We should see another stage of capitulation which should take us in the $4k - $5k range, but it hasn't happened yet for some reason. $5900 by late June does definitely seem possible, maybe even likely.

Yes we are in bear market* but somehow it's not totally a 100% pure bear market because as you noticed, bitcoin bouncing back and rebounding somehow on the process. Not just bitcoin, but other altcoins as well. The price is in roller coaster and not on a continous dump. Others are taking advantage during the dips and we can seen it the way price moves recently and up to today. Some alts established a 5% to 10% increase and decrease at the same day at weekly monitoring.

If that is your prediction then so be it. And why the heck the price decreased will be blamed by you.

Anyways I don't mind this current market situation in terms of selling bitcoin because Im on a hodl as always. What my concern is taking advantage of the dips and the recent price can considered as good entry point. Goodluck to all.

That's because, like I said earlier, there is a undercurrent of the latest bull market, in 2017, which had not died, after all this capitulation. This bull channel is still alive and, in the case of a bear capitulation, it will cause a spike to a new ATH very fast.

Its like a tug of war between bulls and bears. A lot of hodlers had been born and tested in 2017, and all the weak hands had got out already. So, its a different situation from 2013-2015, which had a 100% bear domination.

When the price had not rise in May, I assumed we were in a multi-year bear market, but the bullish undercurrent is still alive, so 12-18k is still likely to happen in December, even with the multi-year bear market. Without it, we can reach 100k, specially if a trade war happens between the US and China, which will force a lot of institutional investors to hedge in bitcoin.

I actually think that we are lacking bearish predictions. I want kwukduck to come back. I miss that dude. I sent him a PM just now in the hope that he will get an email notification. I asked him to come back. His last activity dates back from late February this year.

After the late June 5900 we are going to see hopefully some bounce back to 6900. Well some perma bear talking about 3000-5000 price levels and then a huge bounce back to 7000. I am moderate with my 5900. So then we will hit 6900 by middle of July and then early August we will hit 7900. This is the star of the real bull market.  Then end of August 8900 and the end of September 9900 and then hopefully we hit 17000 by middle of December. Then crash down again.... I don't expect a new ath this year for sure. 80% likely this scenario. 18000 is out of question. 17000 is already mega optimistic.

You are free to give your thoughts and predictions here as long as it is not offensive and you are not breaking any of the forum's rule. I skipped with your prediction with $5,900 - $9,900 as I'm fine also with those prices.
But with what you've said about $17,000 at the middle of December that's realistic and as usual after these ATH's another crash may occur just like what happened in the past.

Hi Daniel, thank you for giving us your thoughts. If you hit your prediction on the mark then good for you. However, its really hard to say where the price will go at this point. But everyone really hate predictions with no TA to back it up so I suggest you put your TA or Graphs here so that we can discuss. Of course this forum will give you the chance to speak your opinion. But prepare to defend your opinion at all cost and again a good TA to back it up will also a good thing to do.

I agree with you. The $6k support even though strong right now, doesn't seem to me at least as the definitive bottom of this bear market. Currently, we're seeing no signs of an immediate trend reversal, which means that prices are going to most likely move downwards slowly in individual dips.

However, I would not say with such certainty that this will definitely happen by the end of June.

You simply never know in such volatile market conditions, especially when we're still in the process of consolidation. It could take much longer than 3 weeks for the $6k support to be broken, even though I think it will eventually. On the flip side, it could be a matter of days if negative regulations and press coverage affects markets in a drastic way.

I completely forgot about him, thanks for bringing it up. He was actually the perfect opposite indicator of what the market would do. It's almost like he on purposely was helping people instead of making them sell.

His inactivity might indicate that there isn't anything to fud about, and that we might be up for a long consolidation phase. It's of course pure speculation, but it would be cool if that was the case.

I just hope that he didn't lose interest in this forum. It would mean that yet another old member left due to the lack of knowledgeable sparring partners. I hope that we don't end up doing the same years later.

Exactly. At the moment the media is treating crypto quite nicely. Crypto friendly news. Relatively crypto friendly. I do not think that bitcoins will reach $5,900 dollars because there are still a lot of people who are investing today since the market price is decreasing, the best thing to do is just hold your coins or invest as well in order to earn more profit in the future.

But it can't go on forever. The price will definitely go up. You only need to have patience and not give up income in Fiat. I think it's normal for bitcoin to become bearish at this time or moment we are only at early times of the 2nd quarter of the year, but i don't bitcoin will drop at that 5,900 USD, and i will not laugh you on that cause we all have rights to express our opinions here  , and yeah i agree to you that last of the year is the bullish month of bitcoin  .

Did they ban you because of this? Did you do something wrong? Besides you do technical analysis to make these forecasts, can you at least show those analyzes that you did and that successfully managed to predict the price? if we assume that you is someone capable of hit your predictions then it means that you trade successfully, how many times have you already made mistakes, and how many times have you got it right?

bitcoins decreasing to 5900 is not bad because it only means that you can invest more coins in order to earn a huge amount of profit when the market pumps again before the year ends.
