bitcoin investing as an asset only for risk takers because sometimes bitcoin rises significantly making the holder profitable but sometimes bitcoin drops significantly which makes the holder lose
According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I think bitcoin can be an asset and can also be a currency because if we hold and invest in bitcoin for the long term it will become our assets for the future and bitcoin becomes a currency that can be used online to buy something

According to my point of view bitcoin can be used as an asset or as currency. But it is widely used as an asset. People invest in bitcoin and hold them in order to earn profits through the value changes. For bitcoin to use as currency it needs more approval and should be widely used. But still this is not accepted in many countries so that people used bitcoin in order to earn profits. In near future we can see whether bitcoin is going to make its place as a  currency.

one of the characteristics of a currency is to have a stable value. Does bitcoin have a stable value? No, I think Korea is right. bitcoin is an asset. because this is like oil gold, and other commodities. prices are unstable and prices are controlled by whales. currency is regulated by the government and the state to be stable. while gold is regulated by large investors.

Whatever they call bitcoin , a digital currency , an asset etc . It doesnt really matter in my opinion . I mean , you are free to call whatever you want . As long as we know what its purpose is .

Im quite agreeing to bitcoin being called as an asset too , since its a valuable thing . To me its more important to my current fiat balance in my holding .

Since it's valuable and virtual, it could be called an asset. You're right thou. Accepttability all over the world is key.

For now that is what we can say because nobody buys bitcoin with anything everybody is holding till the price rises so that they can sell it for profit.

Bitcoin is an asset since it is valuable and owned by someone. It can be also called as a currency since it is used to buy something else and is used by many but because bitcoin is a virtual money, it is a cryptocurrency. As a conclusion, bitcoin is an asset and at the same time, a currency.

With the coming up of cryptocurrency the world has changed a lot and Bitcoin has became the powerful cryptocurrency .Bitcoin now consumes about 0.13% of the worlds energy. That is 1 out of 1000 Watts of energy goes to bitcoin. These countries consume less energy than the global bitcoin energy consumption.

Bitcoin could be asset and could be a currency that what i believe bitcoin is, the point is bitcoin does has a value and using bitcoin is similar like using a fiat money but the different is only in the fluctuation and its intangible. As long as bitcoin is a live and keep developing, bitcoin as asset or currency is not really a matter. Lips sealed Lips sealed

personally I think bitcoin is an asset, when bitcoin is a currency, but a bitcoin currency is a very strong currency so we can say bitcoin is a currency and a big asset
if Bitcoin follows the rules of supply and economic demand. This helps people make trading easier, allowing holders to convert goods into commodities that can be traded widely through business sales and then used to buy almost anything they want. The most important thing that makes Bitcoin valuable is, Bitcoin is different from the others. It has its own ability to desire people, it shows its uniqueness to people.

This eternal question about the bitcoin nature. What is Bitcoin? More and more people see that the world of traditional finance isn't perfect. Perhaps BTC will be widely recognized around the world, which will be reflected in the large transactions volume. Subsequently, bitcoin can become a widely used GLOBAL DIGITAL CURRENCY. This is the best scenario! But to do this, it needs to become more stable against other currencies. Central banks and governments must recognize bitcoin ,then it can compete with fiat.

It is actually a good move to ask questions about the future of bitcoin because this is one of the way for people to learn its system and ways for earning with the used of its system and how we can used it as a cryptocurrency in the market for transactions and trading where it could provide an open ended opportunity for people to earn and to gain profit in the future.

In fact there are countries who really wants to control bitcoin in their own boundaries of responsibility. Bitcoin as an asset is potential for the owner but it takes time to taste the whole benefits of being owner.

if for a country like that, there must be a bro, because every country has different thoughts, there are negative ones and some positive ones, only the government will lead. because every leader must be able to influence his people.

Most people buy bitcoin to hodl believing that the price will go up in the coming years. It is an asset worth keeping at the moment.

I think that the development of bitcoin is very promising even though it is now declining I will never stop to increase my assets and I am sure that someday there will be good assets.
we have lots of assets both in the form of home land and even bitcoin I make future assets.

I consider Bitcoin to be valuable or an asset for people because they want Bitcoin. For every other currency, Bitcoin follows the rules of aupply and economic demand. This helps people make trading easier, allowing holders to convert goods into commodities that can be traded widely through business sales and then used to buy almost anything they want. The most important thing that makes Bitcoin valuable is, Bitcoin has the ability to show its uniqueness to people.

Currently bitcoin is seen as an asset because it is not being used as a mode of payment for items that we purchase or transactions that we do. The reason is very simple, some people are still yet to believe in the payment system of bitcoin and accept it until then it will still be an asset instead of a currency.

Bitcoin can b3 thought of as both asset and cryptocurrency in a sense that one can use bitcoin purposely for it being accepted as a currency in some online shops and other places and also when consideredas an asset,  people sell their fiats for the purpose of storing their wealth that they have like people do for gold.
