All in one crypto digital wallet!

If i will be given a chance to do a project with cryptocurrency then i will be making an all in one digital wallet for all crypto that includes bitcoin and all altcoins using same wallet address. I have seen too many digital wallet from known digital wallet for ERC20 tokens and for bitcoin digital wallet but i never saw a digital wallet that will cater all the digital currency either bitcoin or altcoins. If i have only the capacity to do it like having a good team developer and a financer then i guess i could make a revolutionary digital wallet.

there is a wallet that already have all this features you just mentioned maybe you have seen or heard of it. its called coinomi its available of android and IOS, you can download it and see for your self.

Is Coinomi available for computer? It would be inconvenient if you could only use your cell phone to hold all your money. Computer operations are easier.

Coinomi is good but it doesn't have all the altcoins that atleast passed their ICO's and go further with the roadmap.Some are missing from it.Maybe a wallet that will add all the main coins(BTC,ETH,etc) and altcoins(that finish their ICO) and will generate a new address for each wallet of the respective coin.Something like a masterwallet that will contain all of them and with a windows/mac/linux,etc versions.Maybe it sounds stupid or it really is.That's just an idea.

Coinomi doesn't have a desktop wallet I think. I prefer doing all my stuff on a computer.

While it is bad storing all your money on your mobile, it is not safer to store them on a computer.
The biggest part of your holdings should always be held in cold storage. Whether on a paper wallet, air gapped PC or hardware wallet doesn't matter.

A hot wallet (regardless whether mobile or desktop) should always only hold small amounts which you can afford to lose.

I like your concept.It might be helpful but I dont know whether it is possible or not. If you able to do it than must think about the safety issues as it is a very important thing.

That would be nice but i think it would be dangerous if e only have one wallet for all specially when you forgot your security code. IT would still necessary for us to have different wallets. but if incase one can create your concepts it would be nice if and only if there are securities and other options when security code misplaced.

it is not recommended to use the same "address" for altcoins and bitcoin. there can be a lot of security issues in different altcoins and also there is always the problems concerning Address Reuse.

this bold part is exactly why the cryptocurrency scene sucks so much as of late! everyone looks to make money from it. even when you want to make a free, open source tool you want to get paid for it.
all the good tools are old like Electrum! Thomas V never got paid to create the most famous and used SPV wallet

It is not possible to create one wallet address for all cryptocurrency because they have their own format, for example Bitcoin address starts with 1, 3 or bc1 if it is a segwit address while Ethereum addresses starts with 0x so how can you create an address that will function for all cryptocurrency if there are required format for each of any of them. It is only possible to create one wallet for all tokens created in Ethereum smart contracts which is already existing or any platform that is similar to Ethereum. What you can do is to create a wallet that supports almost all cryptocurrency you know but with different addresses, like coinomi and jaxx did.

This blockchain uses different encryption mechanisms and storage mechanisms. Do not put all your eggs in one basket. If there is a problem with the wallet, you will lose all your cryptocurrancy at once.

I am a new person who knows the bitcoin world. During my bitcoin world I only use some wallets to hold tokens from ERC20 like MEW. NEO and others. I do not know if there is a wallet that can accommodate as discussed this.

From my perspective i think it is not effective decision. Personally i use different wallet for different trades. I believe if all in one wallet it might be hack.

We already have such wallets - even blockchain.info wallet supports as BTC as ETH. At the same time there are a lot of other multicurrency wallets

yes i agree, there is a very big tendency that you will lose all of your valuable belongings instantly, that is why when it someone develops this crypto wallet they must make sure that the security is very strong and cannot be penetrated easily because if the opposite will happen then most probably they will lose their valod costumers.

I think It is very difficult to build one global mechanism for all coins because of this reason. But we can build one wallet that has different sub wallet such as hardware wallet. Near future, that type of wallet will be famous than other wallets.

Currently, there are lots of 3rd party wallets that support a variety of altcoin and tokens! But I usually use the core wallet from the developer to make sure it is safe and kept up to date!

Each crypto have its own digital address, so it is not possible, but there are some online digital wallets with many crypto inside, so each crypto have its own address. Plus also there are various offline wallets too.

for now hardware wallet can be save all coin or token  , you can using TREZOR , NANO S , LEDGER for save your token or coin .
I recommended you for using hardware wallet for saving your token , because hardware wallet have more security more than wallet online.

Myetherwallet is the best ERC-20 wallet i mean all in one crypto digital wallet for only ERC-20 wallet.Other many wallets are exist in crypto platform but very few.Blockchain is real platform i think.
