Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I thought I would mention that MultiBit is also localised into Russian.
There is a dropdown on the View / Preferences screen where you can set the language options.
There is a thread in the Technical and Development / Alternative clients that I am using to coordinate the progress of it.
